Micah Parsons shares tough mindset, shrugs off injury concerns

Micah Parsons downplays injury concerns
The former Penn State star has been one of the biggest names in the NFL since he burst onto the scene as a rookie last season, and his constant quotable interviews has made him a fan-favorite off the field as well. Parsons added to his catalog of quotes on Sunday after giving a very football answer to a question about his health.
“I feel like I just played four quarters of football,” answered Parsons when asked how he felt after the win. “It comes with the game. I know what I signed up for.”
Parsons was asked a follow-up question specifically about his lower back and if he was feeling any pain in that part of his body. Parsons answered again simply, confirming that pain is just part of the sport to him.

His comments come just a week after a similar explanation from the second-year star, when he shared a funny and disgusting hypothetical situation. Parsons revealed that he had been battling an illness that he wouldn’t let keep him from game day.
“I’m here to play, I’m here to be great. I could have a stomach virus, I could be pooping my pants and I still want to play. I don’t want to be held back. I live to play the game. Me at 60 is better than most people at 100. I just wanna play,” said Parsons last week.
