Micah Parsons takes victory lap following victory over Auburn
The Penn State Nittany Lions routed the Auburn Tigers on Saturday night to the tune of a 41-12 beatdown. As you might imagine, many former Nittany Lion football players were excited to watch their old team sweep an SEC opponent. The Dallas Cowboys’ freak of nature playing linebacker, Micah Parsons, was excited about the big win and decided to let everyone know about it on his Twitter page.

“We just swept auburn!!!” Parsons tweeted after the victory. “I don’t want to hear no more SEC TALK!!” Running back Nicholas Singleton dominated in a big way on Saturday for the Nittany Lions, racking up 124 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 10 carries (averaging a mind-blowing 12.4 yards per carry).
Micah Parsons continues to dominate at a rarified level
Micah Parsons may not have been celebrating with his team following their demoralizing Week 1 loss, but the former Penn State star tied an impressive mark during the showdown.
With a sack of Tom Brady on Sunday, Parsons joined some elite company for his incredible start to his NFL career.

“According to the Cowboys, Micah Parsons is one of five players in NFL history to have 15.0 sacks in his first 17 games, joining John Abraham (15.5), Joey Bosa (15.0), Jevon Kearse (15.0) and Aldon Smith (15.0),” tweeted Jon Machota of The Athletic.
At least somebody got some good news for the Cowboys, as it was an all-around nightmare contest for Dallas in Week 1. Not only was the team’s offense completely ineffective, but they lost quarterback Dak Prescott for an extended period of time due to a thumb injury.
No matter how bad things might look for Cowboy fans, they can rest easy knowing they have one of the best defensive prospects to come along in quite some time.
