Michigan and Ohio State are ready for the latest edition of “The Game,” this time in Columbus, and the odds have been revealed.

Michigan beat Ohio State three years in a row while coached by Jim Harbaugh. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes come in as the favorite this time around with the Wolverines rebuilding under first-year head coach Sherrone Moore.

But that doesn’t make this rivalry any less appealing.

According to FanDuel, Ohio State was listed as a -21.5 point favorite. The total for the game was set at 44.5 points.

If you want to bet the money line, Ohio State was listed as a -3000 favorite while Michigan is +1200 if you’re picking straight up.

Sure, Michigan and Ohio State are going to finish the season vastly different, but the Wolverines have reason to have  hope for the future. While Ohio State has the No. 2 QB in 2025, Michigan landed the No. 1 prospect Bryce Underwood.

Underwood flipped from LSU to Michigan and is the crown jewel of the 2025 recruiting class. Michigan ramped up its NIL efforts – including crucial help from The Champions Circle – and put together a lucrative NIL deal. On3’s Pete Nakos had more details on Underwood’s recruitment and how NIL factored into his decision.

By landing Underwood, Michigan is keeping him close to home. The Belleville product is the No. 1 overall recruit from the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He’ll surely take in Michigan-Ohio State from in person or somewhere at home because he’ll be a centerpiece to the rivalry with No. 2 prospect Tavien St. Clair (Ohio State).

Michigan leads Ohio State in the all-time series 61-51-6, winning three in a row. Prior to the Wolverines finally breaking through in 2021-23, Ohio State won eight in a row from 2012-19 with no matchup in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

When you look at the records in Columbus, MIchigan actually holds a 28-27-2 lead in the series when played at Ohio State. The Horseshoe is a great home field advantage, but the Wolverines have taken advantage before.
