Michigan vs. Ohio State odds: The Game line shifts after Wolverines' loss to Texas
For the first time in four years, Michigan lost at home. The Wolverines fell to Texas on Saturday, and it led to a shift in the betting line for The Game against Ohio State.
Ohio State is now a 17.5-point favorite over Michigan for the Nov. 30 affair, according to FanDuel. The over-under is also set at 44.5.
Michigan vs. Texas was arguably the biggest game of the young season as the two Top-10 teams squared off in Ann Arbor. However, the Longhorns put together a complete performance to come away with the resounding 31-12 victory.
Quinn Ewers had a huge day to lead the charge on offense. He completed 24 of 36 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns to move up the board as the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy through the first two weeks of the year.

The Longhorns defense also rose to the occasion. They held the Wolverines to just 80 rushing yards, and they didn’t score a touchdown until late in the game when Semaj Morgan made a highlight-reel play with two minutes left to play.

Texas used a balanced attack on offense with 246 passing yards and 143 rushing yards – something Steve Sarkisian noted in his postgame interview. It was an an all-around effort to hand Michigan its first loss of the Sherrone Moore era.
Ohio State got off to a strong start to the 2024 season, defeating Akron 52-6 at Ohio Stadium last week. The Buckeyes got a huge day out of top recruit Jeremiah Smith, who hauled in a team-high six receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns to lead the charge. They’re set to take on Western Michigan Saturday night with a chance to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Ohio State and Michigan are set to square off in the last game of the regular season on Nov. 30. For the Buckeyes, it’ll be a chance to snap a three-game losing streak to the Wolverines.
