No. 14 Michigan and No. 19 Texas A&M square off Saturday in the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament after both advanced out of the first round in the South Region. The fifth-seeded Wolverines (26-9) edged out No. 12 seed UC-San Diego, 68-65, on Thursday, while the fourth-seeded Aggies (23-10) dispatched 13-seeded Yale, 80-71, also Thursday.

Michigan enters the game winners of four straight games, including claiming the Big Ten Tournament championship last week, while the Aggies are looking to start a winning streak of their own after losing five of their last eight games, including their lone game in last week’s SEC Tournament in Nashville against rival Texas.

Texas A&M is led by senior point guard Wade Taylor IV, who is averaging 15.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists for the Aggies. Meanwhile, Michigan is fueled by its dual 7-footers in senior Vladislav Goldin (avg. 16.6 points and 6.8 rebounds) and junior Danny Wolf (avg. 13 points and 9.9 rebounds), with junior guard Tre Donaldson (11.6 points and 4.2 assists) running point.
