Mikal Bridges is fed up with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Evidently, the Phoenix Suns young star has been burned by Ben Roethlisberger and the rest of the Steelers for consecutive weeks.

Following Pittsburgh’s disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Bridges tweeted that he’s cutting the Steelers off.

“Never betting on the Steelers ever again,” tweeted Bridges. “This is 2 weeks straight man.”

Evidently, Bridges took the Steelers to defeat the Las Vegas Raiders last week, and the Bengals this week. As fate would have it, Pittsburgh was defeated rather decisively by both opponents.

Unlike Bridges’ Suns last season, it looks like the Steelers are headed towards a season of mediocrity and disappointment. Although both teams share similarities, Pittsburgh just hasn’t been able to overcome their deficiencies yet this season.

Last season, Bridges averaged 13.2 points per game for the Suns. However, it looks like his betting record isn’t close to that high — and he’s blaming the Steelers for his faults.

Next weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers. It’s safe to assume Mikal Bridges will be riding with Aaron Rodgers if he decides to bet on next weekend’s game.

Mikal Bridges: Phillies and Penn State Super-Fan

While Bridges may be angry with the Steelers, he’s happy his Philadelphia Phillies have been on fire. Looking through his twitter, you would think the Suns’ star is home to a Phillies’ fan-page.

Additionally, Bridges continually tweets about his other favorite team — the Penn State Nittany Lions. Ironically, Penn State defeated his alma-mater this weekend, the Villanova Wildcats.

Bridges isn’t getting any favors from the Steelers, but the Phillies and Nittany Lions could be playoff-bound. As the Phillies have quietly become one of the hottest teams in Major League Baseball, Penn State has worked their way into College Football Playoff conversation.

Evidently, Mikal Bridges is good luck for most of his sports teams. However, his betting record may leave much to be desired.
