WATCH: Green Bay Packers lineman David Bakhtiari chugs beer at Bucks-Celtics playoff game
One of the Milwaukee Bucks superfans made his return to the sidelines for their Game 6 matchup against the Boston Celtics. The Bucks have a chance to close out their divisional round series against the Celtics tonight at home, which was the perfect time for Green Bay Packers lineman David Bakhtiari, also known by fans as Beer Bakhtiari, to make his presence felt.
The legend of Beer Bakhtiari started back in 2019 when he and reigning two-time NFL MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers faced off in a chug-off. Rodgers’s blindside protector demolished him in the contest to the roar of the Milwaukee fans. Fast forward to Friday night’s game, and Milwaukee fans got another appearance from Beer Bakhtiari coupled with another monster chug.
Right now, the Bucks need all the support they can get as they attempt to put away the Celtics and advance to the Eastern Conference finals for the third time in four years. And if Beer Bakhtiari can get the crowd going, it could be the boost they need to end the series on Friday night.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst offers up first impressions of 2022 schedule
The NFL announced the full schedule for the 2022 season on Thursday night, providing the Green Bay Packers with clarity on their 17-game regular season. In addition to the six divisional games, the team will make its international debut in London on Oct. 9.
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst shared his thoughts on the upcoming slate after the release.
“It’s always an exciting time when you get (the schedule) because it puts the whole season in focus,” Gutekunst said. “I think there’s a stretch in there where we’re away maybe five out of seven games and that’s a tough stretch, but at the same time, the season, hopefully, is going to be one of those seasons where our guys kind of bond together as we go through it because obviously, that ultimate goal is to get to that second season – the playoffs.”

After the tough stretch in the middle of the season, Green Bay gets to close out the year with three of the last four games at home.
“Getting teams at Lambeau Field, in front of our fans, is so much of a distinct advantage for us, specifically at that time of the year,” Gutekunst said. “Hopefully, we’ll have a lot to play for at that time and it’ll help us accomplish a lot of the goals we’ve set out to accomplish.”
On paper, Green Bay currently faces one of the most difficult regular season schedules in the NFL. But with Aaron Rodgers back in the fold and a pair of first-round picks improving the defense, the potential for a big season remains.
