Like many college football fans across the country, Lane Kiffin is a huge fan of country singer Morgan Wallen. So, when Wallen came to Oxford, Mississippi, Kiffin played a critical role in his concerts and helped to fuel him with energy to perform well for the crowd. So, as a thank you, Wallen decided to deliver a priceless gift, sending the Rebels’ head coach a commemorative football with all the details of the concert. And of course it has Lane Kiffin’s name on it.

On the personal note that Wallen left for Kiffin, he wrote, “Thank you for being such a key part of my nightly walkouts. Your contribution inspired me to have more energy and more confidence to go out and kill it. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. God Bless!”

It’s a nice gesture from Wallen, especially considering how busy he is with his music. He likely had an assistant take care of it for Kiffin. Regardless, it’s still a really nice gesture and surely the Ole Miss head coach will cherish it forever.

Wallen has a new tour for this summer, “I’m the Problem Tour 2025”. He’ll be traveling to 20 different locations across the United States and Canada, with such stops as Miami Gardens (Hard Rock Stadium), Houston (NRG Stadium), and Madison, Wisconsin (Camp Randall Stadium). He’ll have such special guests on the tour such as: Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Koe Wetzel, Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, and Anne Wilson. For more information regarding his upcoming tour, you can find that on his website here.

On June 1, 2024, Wallen opened up Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, a six-story bar, restaurant and music venue, in downtown Nashville. According to chart data, he currently ranks at No. 13 on IFPI’s list of the world’s best-selling artists in 2024.

Earlier in the month of February, Wallen’s hit song, “I’m the Problem” launched at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Charts.
