Shortly after the halftime break of Sunday’s Packers-Eagles NFL playoff matchup, FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews updated the injury status of linebacker Nakobe Dean. And it’s not good for Eagles fans. “Bad news though, for the Eagles defense, linebacker Nakobe Dean, Kevin. He is out with a knee injury, that is a massive blow for this Eagles defensive. Oren Burks is going to be in for him as he was in the first half,” Andrews explained on Sunday evening.

It’s a major loss for Philadelphia, as Dean ranks second on the team with 128 total tackles and also has three sacks. They’ll now have to look for others to step up in the playoffs and fill the void left behind by his absence.

The Eagles still handled the Packers with ease Sunday

The Eagles still managed to take care of business on Sunday, handling the Green Bay Packers in their playoff matchup. The game was never really in doubt. And Eagles star receiver AJ Brown was apparently pretty bored on the sidelines, so he decided to pull out a book, titled, ‘Inner Excellence,”. Naturally, after the game, many different Eagles fans flooded the Amazon reviews after the moment went viral.

Brown only had one catch for 10 yards, but it didn’t matter much, as the Eagles handled the Packers in easy fashion, 22-10.

Eagles fans had had a variety of hilarious comments in their reviews.

“AJ Brown recommended this book, so I’m looking forward to reading this. Fly Eagles Fly,” one user wrote. “I saw him reading this on the sidelines and I too wanna strive to be unbothered,” another one said. As an eagles fan, I endorse this with all my being. AJ Brown manifested the win today his inner excellence. Jim Murphy knows what’s up. You too can have your inner excellence with this book if you become an eagles fan. Go Birds!!”

The Eagles jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and there was never really a doubt in this one. Although the Packers made it interesting once running back Josh Jacobs plunged for a one-yard touchdown run. His touchdown run made it 16-10 in the fourth quarter, but that was as close as the Packers would get all day. Jacobs was the lone bright spot for Green Bay, finishing with over 100 all-purpose yards and one touchdown.

It’s not surprising that AJ Brown was bored in the game. He’s one of the best receivers in the National Football League and was only targeted three times on Sunday. The Eagles won the game, which is most important, but they’ll need to find a way to get their superstar more involved moving forward. So that he doesn’t have to pull out reading material on the sidelines. But he mentioned in the postgame that he’s been reading the book for much of the season, and that it definitely helps with his mental state.

I’m sure Jim Murphy appreciated the free advertisement, though. The book seems like a relevant one for many different people across many different fields. On the book’s website, it says, “Train your mind for extraordinary performance and live the best possible life.”
