NASCAR 25 video game unveils details about career mode, available platforms

This fall the NASCAR 25 video game, produced by iRacing will be released. The team behind the game is already sharing inside looks. Of course, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is involved and has had a lot of input on the game as well.
For many years, NASCAR fans have been begging for a quality video game. Now with iRacing in charge of making NASCAR 25, that appears to finally be coming true.
Building from the ground up in ARCA, players will be able to live out an extensive and detailed career mode in NASCAR 25. Start out in a dirty, old garage and work your way up to one of the sport’s top Cup Series organizations.
In a new video, the makers behind the game, including some real-life drivers like Dale Jr. and Ty Majeski talk about the new features of career mode. Also, don’t worry, the game will be released on PC as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Games like NBA2K and Madden made popular career modes in the past. Online play has taken over largely, but that isn’t what the NASCAR video game market is looking for. If you want online, realistic play, then iRacing on the computer is likely where you would go.
What NASCAR fans want is a smooth console game with, hopefully, some online play. But most importantly, a story and a path to follow. Give us the details and resources to be truly creative and not just click “start” for each race of the Cup Series calendar.
NASCAR 25 is bringing ARCA, Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and Cup Series teams, drivers, and sponsors to the regular fan. If you aren’t excited about this game yet, you should be.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. remains a video game nerd at heart, helping with NASCAR 25
For those who don’t know, Dale Earnhardt Jr. isn’t just a tough and gritty race car driver. He has, for most of his life, been a video game player. One could even go as far as calling him a nerd.
He plays a niche WWII online simulator called Hell Let Loose. There are only ever about 5,000-10,000 players online at a time. Over the years, Dale Jr. has been a huge proponent of iRacing and the eNASCAR Coca-Cola Series. In fact, the series championship trophy is named for Earnhardt and styled after the classic Winston Cup Series trophy.
Seeing Dale Jr. involved in NASCAR 25 is not a shock. It is a smart idea from iRacing and it appears his influence is paying off in these teaser videos. When you see how excited these iRacing employees are about this game, you can’t help but be interested.
NASCAR 25 is going to be here this year. Fans are going to be able to take the wheel and control the front office like never before.
