This weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race is at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The 4EVER 400 odds are out. After last week’s big win at Las Vegas, Kyle Larson has a path to Phoenix secured. Does that mean we should count him out this weekend in Miami?

Homestead-Miami has been a great venue for the NASCAR Playoffs. It produces great racing in an atmosphere that is hard to replicate. One of NASCAR’s coolest venues, there are a handful of drivers looking forward to the 4EVER 400.

Given how important it is to race high on the wall here, there are a few drivers that will be able to rise above the rest. Then again, it’s the playoffs. We might just be shocked with who wins this race when we get to Sunday.

Leading the 4EVER 400 odds is, of course, Kyle Larson. He only has one win at this track but he is able to get the most out of his car every time. He said after his Las Vegas win, he wants to win Homestead by 30 seconds. We’ll see if that plays out for the 11-4 favorites, according to BetMGM.

Going through the list of drivers, it isn’t shocking who is listed next. Tyler Reddick has 5-1 odds in the 4EVER 400. He’s a driver that can ride the wall very well. Reddick and his team see this as their path to the championship as they are currently below the points cutline.

Next up is Martin Truex Jr. at 5-1 odds. I get why, but he still hasn’t shown that we can trust him to get a complete race. Last week, it wasn’t so much his fault as it was his crew chief making a risky pit call. Truex is still in it, but I don’t know for how much longer.

Going through the odds, the NASCAR Playoffs drivers are favored above the ones who aren’t in it, with one exception. These are arguably the best eight drivers in the Cup Series. I’m not sure anyone in our playoff field is a “Cinderella.”

Denny Hamlin is listed at 7-1 odds for the Homestead-Miami race. Let’s not forget that Hamlin has started on the pole six times at Homestead. Then again, he only actually qualified for three of those. Still, he has the most active pole awards of any driver at this track.

Coming up next is six-time race winner this season, William Byron. He has the most wins and is looking to add another this weekend. 15-2 odds for Byron. That puts him just ahead of Kyle Busch at 14-1 odds.

Christopher Bell is listed at 14-1 odds. The dirt racer gave Kyle Larson a good race at the end of the Las Vegas South Point 400. It just wasn’t enough. Bell doesn’t do as well as his dirt peers, Reddick and Larson.

Ross Chastain enters the odds at 16-1. He is just ahead of our final playoff driver, fresh off his DQ and then non-DQ – Ryan Blaney. Blaney at 18-1 odds will have an uphill battle against these other playoff drivers. Now that he has his points back, he does have a path to the Championship 4 besides winning.
