NASCAR unveiled the full 36-race schedule for the 2024 Cup Series season Wednesday.

As is always the case, the season opens up with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway, which takes place on Feb. 18. For the third consecutive year, the preseason Clash will take place at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Feb. 4, two weeks before the Daytona 500.

For the second straight year, a repaved North Wilkesboro Speedway will host the All-Star Race on May 19. After three seasons of racing the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, NASCAR will return to the oval, as they did from 1994 to 2020. The 30th anniversary celebration of the race is scheduled for July 21. The Cup Series champion will be crowned at Phoenix Raceway in November.

Elsewhere, the 2024 season sees the return of two Bristol races on concrete after three seasons of running a dirt race at “The Last Great Colosseum.”

Iowa Speedway set for NASCAR Cup Series debut

As announced Tuesday, Iowa Speedway will host its first-ever Cup Series race in 2024. NASCAR scheduled the race for June 16 at 7 p.m. ET.

Iowa Speedway hosted the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series from 2009-19. NASCAR purchased the track in 2013, putting the gears in motion for an eventual Cup Series race. The 0.875-mile oval seats approximately 25,000.

“For years, the Iowa community has patiently waited for the NASCAR Cup Series to come to town,” Brad Keselowski said. “It is with great pleasure for all of the racing community to announce they will finally see that dream come together. Iowa truly is a hotbed for motorsports fans, I saw that enthusiasm firsthand in 2009 for the inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series race, and can’t wait to see the atmosphere on race day in 2024.”
