NASCAR Cook Out Clash: Betting lines for the entire field to win at Bowman Gray Stadium

NASCAR returns this weekend for what should be a compelling event, as The Clash will move from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Traditionally serving as an appetizer for the crusade that Cup Series wheelmen undertake from February to November, beginning with the Daytona 500, The Clash has become a can’t-miss event. Perhaps this season more than ever, with one of stock car racing’s most legendary venues hosting this time around.
NASCAR even upped the stakes a bit, as the winner will take home the first-ever Bobby Allison Memorial Trophy. With that in mind, FanDuel Sportsbook has released odds for which driver will stand above the rest in North Carolina. Check them out below.
Kyle Larson (+750)
Kyle Larson notched six wins over the course of the 2024 campaign. However, he fell short of making it to the Championship 4 in Phoenix, and it hasn’t sat right with him or many of his fans around the world.
He’s more motivated than ever entering 2025. What better way to start the season than with a win in The Clash? It’s one of the trophies that’s eluded the Hendrick Motorsports star throughout his illustrious career.
Joey Logano (+750)

Joey Logano continued to add to his Hall of Fame resume in 2024. While it didn’t start off with a bang, and he took a while to get going, Logano captured his third NASCAR Cup Series title, elevating himself into an iconic group of drivers.
He’s heard all the criticism about how he doesn’t deserve it, but trophies and rings beat hurt feelings. In the past, the Team Penske wheelman has won The Clash twice, once at Daytona and once in Los Angeles, so a third win to usher in a new era at Bowman Gray Stadium would be fitting.
Chase Briscoe (+950)
Chase Briscoe was held back a bit by his team over the past two seasons, as Stewart-Haas Racing shuttered their doors. He was still able to win his way into the playoffs at Darlington, but he couldn’t do much once he made it in.
Expect for him to race his heart out in 2025, as he’ll be in better equipment at Joe Gibbs Racing with heightened expectations. It’s the best ride the talented wheelman has ever had, and the sky could be the limit, beginning this weekend.
Christopher Bell (+1000)
At this point, Christopher Bell is going to be a threat wherever the NASCAR Cup Series ends up. He’s become a savant on almost every type of track, and he’s hoping to get to Victory Lane at Bowman Gray during The Clash.
While he’s never won the event, the No. 20 team made it to Victory Lane at Daytona in 2020 and 2015, with Erik Jones and Matt Kenseth, respectively. Perhaps every five years is the charm? Bell is more than capable of getting it done.
Denny Hamlin (+1100)

Denny Hamlin is certainly a fan of The Clash. He’s won the event four times, including last season’s event in Los Angeles. Not too shabby.
While 2025 may be a tough season to gauge for Hamlin, as he’s undergone a slew of changes as it pertains to his crew chief and sponsorship, he’s still one of the best drivers in the garage. Bet against the No. 11 wheelman at your own risk, especially in this event.
Ryan Blaney (+1100)
Ryan Blaney came close to winning back-to-back championships last season. While he fell short in the end to his teammate Joey Logano, he still found Victory Lane three times, and there’s a ton to build on for the No. 12 team.

He’s never won The Clash, and it’s all about stacking trophies for Blaney moving forward, as he looks to add to his resume and avoid a slow start once again in 2025. He’ll certainly be aggressive in North Carolina.
Kyle Busch (+1200)
One has to wonder how many more chances Kyle Busch will get to win The Clash. His focus may be on the Daytona 500 in two weeks, a race he hasn’t won before, but a victory at Bowman Gray would be no small feat.
In the past, Busch has won The Clash twice — once at Daytona on the oval, and once on the road course at the same track, the only time The Clash has ever been run there. Maybe some more history is in the cards for a driver who needs a pick-me-up.
Ty Gibbs (+1300)

Ty Gibbs has impressed throughout his time in the Cup Series. However, he’s yet to find Victory Lane and capture that elusive first win as a full-time wheelman at the top level.
He’s come close, and Gibbs has been a threat at multiple different styles of racing. A win in Winston-Salem could be a sign of good things to come, and a solid omen for more trips to Victory Lane in 2025.
William Byron (+1400)
William Byron came up just short of winning a Cup Series title in 2024, for the second consecutive season, as he made it to the Championship 4 once again. He learned some valuable lessons, but getting so close and not finishing the job hurts regardless.
The No. 24 team looked incredible at the onset of the season, winning the Daytona 500 and ripping off two more dubs in short order. They ended the year with only three wins though, so they’ll be hoping to find some more consistency moving forward, beginning this weekend.
Chase Elliott (+1600)
Chase Elliott was incredibly steady in 2024, but he couldn’t rise up above and win more than one race. Still, the one win was an important one, as it locked Elliott into the playoffs, and ended his long winless streak at Texas Motor Speedway.
All told, more is expected from the sport’s most popular driver, as he’s a former champion in the Cup Series. A victory in The Clash could be a good omen for Elliott. He’ll be ready, willing and able in Winston Salem.
