The odds for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series title have been updated following the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway over the weekend.

Denny Hamlin was able to manage his tires the best of anyone, leading to his first official win of the season, after of course winning The Clash earlier in February. Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski also had strong showings, proving the old guard can still get the job done in the Cup Series.

Ahead of next weekend’s race at COTA, where it’s bound to be a ton of fun, there’s a bevy of fascinating storylines. As the campaign moves forward this weekend, here are the updated NASCAR Cup Series title odds, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Kyle Larson (+500)

Kyle Larson had a whirlwind day at Bristol during the Food City 500. The Hendrick Motorsports star ended up with a top five, finishing P5 after some hectic occurrences knocked him off kilter, but he was able to salvage the afternoon in grand fashion.

Over the last couple of seasons, a trip to COTA hasn’t meant tremendous success for the former NASCAR Cup Series champion. He came home P15 in 2023, and he’ll be looking to improve during the first road course of 2024 this time around.

Denny Hamlin (+600)

As if there was ever any doubt, Denny Hamlin has officially clinched his spot in the Cup Series playoffs. The Joe Gibbs Racing star is searching for that long elusive title, and he’s officially on the board in 2024 after a win in Bristol.

While Hamlin has more than held his own on road courses over the last couple of seasons, it’s not exactly his forte. Still, he’ll be a threat to win each time he steps into the car, even at a track where he finished P16 in 2023.

William Byron (+600)

William Byron made the loudest statement of 2024 earlier this season when he won the Daytona 500. However, Bristol wasn’t a fun afternoon for the Hendrick Motorsports star, as Byron came home with a P35 finish on the afternoon.

While some roll their eyes at heading to COTA, Byron’s enthusiasm should be high. The No. 24 wheelman finished P5 last season during the event, and he’ll be looking to bounce back from a tough performance in Tennessee.

Christopher Bell (+700)

Christopher Bell was hoping to win back-to-back races, following his win at Phoenix during the fourth weekend of the season. However, he’ll take a top ten, as Bell finished P10 at The Last Great Coliseum.

COTA was rough for Bell in 2023, as the Joe Gibbs Racing star finished P31. However, he’s looking to enter the upper echelon of drivers this season, so the No. 20 wheelman will be looking to perform well in Austin this weekend.

Ryan Blaney (+1000)

Ryan Blaney entered Bristol with the best car, as he started on the pole on Sunday afternoon. However, he came home P16, and wasn’t able to carry over his momentum from qualifying into the race.

Nevertheless, it’s arguably the worst Blaney has looked in 2024, which is a major compliment to how he’s been driving. He came home P21 at COTA in 2023, so Blaney will be looking to get back on schedule at a track that’s given him fits at times during his career.

Martin Truex Jr. (+1000)

Martin Truex Jr. proved once again at Bristol why he’s one of the best the sport has to offer. He was the only one who had anything for Denny Hamlin at the end of the race, but the Joe Gibbs Racing wheelman couldn’t pass his teammate.

Regardless, Truex Jr. has had a silently strong start to 2024. He’ll look to keep the pressure on the rest of the field at COTA, where he finished P17 in 2023. However, his road course racing prowess will make him a prohibitive favorite entering the weekend.

Joey Logano (+1200)

Speaking of rough starts to the season, it may be time to start worrying about Joey Logano. After a P22 finish at Bristol, Logano hasn’t been a factor at the end of races yet in 2024. However, he’s still a threat to win, week-in and week-out.

Will COTA be the track where Logano finally gets back to business? He came home P28 in 2023, so history isn’t on his side, but the Team Penske wheelman can feel the worries starting to pile up, and he knows he needs to quell the noise sooner rather than later.

Chase Elliott (+1200)

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Chase Elliott in Victory Lane. Bristol was solid for the Hendrick Motorsports star, as he finished P8, but his fans want wins, not simply top tens for the sport’s most popular driver.

Thankfully, COTA is a track that’s been kind to Elliott in the past. He missed the race last season with an injury, and Jordan Taylor filled in, coming home P24. In his return to COTA, Elliott could put a stamp on his comeback with a win in Austin.
