NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds: Betting lines updated after Charlotte Roval
The betting lines for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship have been updated following this past weekend’s race at the Charlotte Roval.
Kyle Larson dominated in North Carolina, and he exited the Round of 12 with his sixth win of the season. Christopher Bell seemed to be the only one that had anything for the No. 5, and he was able to come home as the runner-up, but the Joe Gibbs Racing star couldn’t pass Larson before the checkered flag waved.
The Cup Series Playoffs are down to eight talented wheelmen now, as the Round of 8 is kicking off this weekend in Las Vegas. Before it all gets underway, Check out the updated odds for who will hoist the trophy at the end of the season, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Kyle Larson (+350)
Kyle Larson proved once again why he’s the driver to beat in the NASCAR Cup Series this past weekend. He was dominant throughout the afternoon during the Bank of American Roval 400, notching his sixth win of 2024.
Looking ahead to this weekend’s race, Las Vegas has been one of Larson’s best tracks in the Cup Series. He’s won the past two races in Sin City, and a third victory in a row would lock him in the Championship 4, where many believe he belongs.
Christopher Bell (+450)
Christopher Bell felt like the only wheelman who had anything for Kyle Larson in Charlotte. He was able to keep up with the No. 5 this past weekend, but he wasn’t able to get the better of him, settling for a runner-up finish at the Roval.
With Las Vegas on the docket, Bell has amassed some uneven performances at the track over the course of his Cup Series tenure. He finished P33 earlier this spring, but came close to victory last fall, as the runner-up to Larson. He’ll be looking to break through with a win at the track on Sunday.
Tyler Reddick (+475)
Tyler Reddick was closer to the cut-line than many expected in the Round of 12, but the regular season champion was able to survive and advance at the Roval this past weekend. He brought the No. 45 Toyota home with a P11 finish, and that was enough to give himself a chance at making the Championship 4 over the next three weeks.
While Reddick has never won at Las Vegas, he’s performed well during his nine starts at the track. He was actually the runner-up to Larson during this past spring’s race in Sin City.
Denny Hamlin (+600)
Denny Hamlin entered the Roval with a tremendous chance at advancing to the Round of 8, and he took care of business in Charlotte. A P14 finish was all he needed, as the Joe Gibbs Racing wheelman’s chase for his first Cup Series title will continue to the Round of 8.
Moving forward to Las Vegas, this will be Hamlin’s 26th trip to Sin City in the Cup Series. He’s done well, but Hamlin has only won once at the track, back in Sept. 2022.
William Byron (+650)
William Byron continued his string of consistent finishes with another promising afternoon in Charlotte. The No. 24 wheelman came home P3 in North Carolina, showing some serious speed throughout the day and setting himself up nicely for the Round of 8.

The Hendrick Motorsports star has been fantastic at Las Vegas throughout his career, winning during the spring trip to the track in 2023. Another top ten finish would do wonders for Byron’s chances at advancing to the Championship 4 for a second consecutive season.
Ryan Blaney (+650)
Ryan Blaney survived a wreck at Talladega to advance to the Round of 8 in Charlotte. The reigning Cup Series champion finishes P10 at the Roval, gaining some momentum ahead of Las Vegas, as he looks to win back-to-back championships in 2024.
This weekend will mark Blaney’s 17th attempt at winning in Las Vegas. He came close in the past, including during the spring iteration of the race in 2024, as he came home P3. He’ll be looking to do two positions better this time around.
Chase Elliott (+1100)
Chase Elliott helped Hendrick Motorsports advance a third car to the Round of 8 in Charlotte, by virtue of his P5 finish. The No. 9 wheelman has had tremendous success at the Roval in the past, and it was another smooth performance for the sport’s most popular driver in North Carolina.
Throughout his Cup Series career, Elliott has yielded uneven results at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. However, he does have a P2 finish at the track, which came back in the fall of 2021. That’s what he’ll be hoping to accomplish this weekend, as he looks to head to Victory Lane for the first time in Sin City.
Joey Logano (+1200)
When the checkered flag waved on Sunday afternoon, it seemed like Joey Logano’s chase for his third Cup Series title was over. However, his P8 finish helped him advance to the Round of 8 after Alex Bowman was disqualified, and the Team Penske wheelman was given new life.
With a second chance to get to the Championship 4, Las Vegas is as good of a track as any for Logano to get the job done. He won the pole at this past spring’s race before finishing P9, and he’s been to Victory Lane in Sin City three times in 22 attempts. He’s a driver to keep an eye on this weekend.
As you can see, Kyle Larson helped his cause with another win at Charlotte, while two Toyota wheelmen in Christopher Bell and Tyler Reddick are hot on his tail. Time will tell who can lock themselves into the Championship 4 with a win at Las Vegas, as the finale at Phoenix will loom large with each passing weekend moving forward.
