The odds for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series title have been updated following the Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway over the weekend.

Once again, the No. 11 of Denny Hamlin was victorious. He held off a furious charge from the No. 5 of Kyle Larson, who came close, but couldn’t get to Hamlin’s bumper in the end. Who knows what would’ve happened if he did, and if Larson would’ve used his chrome horn to move Hamlin out of the way.

Regardless, there’s a litany of drivers looking to clinch their spot in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, ahead of next weekend’s race at Kansas. As the campaign moves forward, here are the full updated NASCAR Cup Series title odds, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Denny Hamlin (+500)

Much to the chagrin of many, Denny Hamlin called his shot at Dover. Like Babe Ruth, Hamlin hit a home run, backing up his words and leaving Delaware victorious on a sunny April afternoon, capturing his third win of 2024.

Moving forward to Kansas, Hamlin’s smile won’t disappear, as he dominated at the track last season. The No. 11 won the spring race in controversial fashion, and then came home P2 during the fall race in Kansas City.

Kyle Larson (+500)

Kyle Larson has been incredible throughout the last month and change, but the wins haven’t been easy to come by for the No. 5. He came close once again at Dover, but he couldn’t get to the back of the No. 11, coming home second.

Now, he’ll look to exact some revenge on Hamlin, for both last weekend’s finish and last season’s incident at Kansas. Hamlin famously moved Larson out of the way on the final lap, sending Larson into the wall, and gifting himself a win one year ago at the track.

William Byron (+500)

Before Hamlin’s victory at Dover, William Byron was the lone competitor with three wins on the season. However, that changed on Sunday afternoon, and Byron had a rough performance all around, wrecking and finishing P33.

As Kansas approaches, that’s music to Byron’s ears. He’ll look to bounce back at a track where he’s strong, after finishing P3 last spring, and P15 last fall in Kansas City.

Christopher Bell (+650)

Similar to William Byron, Christopher Bell struggled at Dover over the weekend. The wheelman of the No. 20 got caught up in an accident, and ended up with a P34 finish on the afternoon; not where he wanted to end up.

That’s consecutive disappointing weeks for Bell, who’s been one of the stronger Toyotas over the course of the season. Kansas has been a mixed bag for him, as he finished dead-last in the spring race in 2023, but redeemed himself with a P8 finish in the fall.

Martin Truex Jr. (+900)

The return home to Dover was a fruitful one for the Truex family, as Martin Truex Jr.’s brother, Ryan Truex, captured a win during the Xfinity Series event. While Truex Jr. wasn’t able to follow his brother and win like the duo did last season, a P3 finish is still solid for the No. 19.

Now, Truex Jr. will look ahead to Kansas, where he’s looking for his first win of 2024. Last season, he finished a respectable P8 during the spring race, but trouble found him in the fall, as Truex Jr. finished P36 on the afternoon.

Chase Elliott (+900)

It was another solid afternoon for Chase Elliott in Dover. The No. 9 was able to capture a top five, sneaking into the conversation with a P5 finish. He’s just racking up consistent finishes, similar to his Hendrick teammates in William Byron and Kyle Larson.

Elliott won at Texas earlier this season, and Kansas is a track where he’ll be a factor. Last season, Elliott finished P7 and P6 at the track. He’ll be looking to do a couple spots better this time around, and get to victory lane.

Ryan Blaney (+1200)

Ryan Blaney was fast on Sunday at Dover, and it resulted in a solid P7 finish for the No. 12. He would’ve liked to get his first win of the season, but a top ten isn’t too shabby for the Team Penske wheelman.

Besides, Blaney can always find victory lane at a number of different tracks, including Kansas. Last season, Blaney came home P16 and P12, so he’ll be looking to keep climbing the pylon in Kansas City this time around.

Ross Chastain (+1200)

Ross Chastain was almost victorious in Dover in 2023, but this time around he just missed out on a top-ten finish. The No. 1 placed P12 on the afternoon, as he continues to be near the front at a consistent clip, week-in and week-out.

Kansas is one of Chastain’s better tracks, and his P5 and P13 finishes in 2023 back that theory up. We’ll see if the Trackhouse Racing star can get to victory lane for the first time since Phoenix last season this weekend.

Tyler Reddick (+1400)

Tyler Reddick was coming off his first win of the season at Talladega, and he was impressive yet again at Dover, just missing out on a top ten finish while bringing his No. 45 Toyota home in P11. Now, Kansas is on the docket.

That’ll be music to the ears of the savant behind the wheel. Reddick finished P9 at Kansas in the spring last season, and he actually won the race last season during the playoffs. A win would continue his charge up the point standings.

As you can tell from FanDuel’s projections, it’s a tight race at the top of the field, with Denny Hamlin, William Byron and Kyle Larson all tied at the moment, and Christopher Bell, Martin Truex Jr. and Chase Elliott following close behind. Still, as we saw with Ryan Blaney’s championship last season, it’s anyone’s guess who the champion will be at the moment, you just need a ticket to the dance.
