The betting lines for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship have been updated following this past weekend’s race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Christopher Bell dominated at times during this past weekend’s race in Sin City, but he couldn’t close the deal, as Joey Logano miraculously scored a win and advanced to the Championship 4. While Bell, Kyle Larson and William Byron are the overwhelming favorites to join Logano in Phoenix, a victory from one of the drivers below the cut-line — Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick, could throw a wrench into things.

Homestead is up next, with Martinsville to follow before the championship race at Phoenix. Before it all goes down, the updated odds for who will hoist the trophy at the end of the season have been released, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Kyle Larson (+260)

Kyle Larson was the overwhelming favorite to win his third consecutive race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. His P11 finish may not jump off the page, but with all the No. 5 team had thrown at them on Sunday, it was an awesome result for Larson and company.

Moving forward to Homestead, Larson has won at the track in the past, back in October of 2022. He’s only finished below P15 at the track twice in ten attempts, so there’s some merit behind the hype for the No. 5 in Florida.

Joey Logano (+300)

Joey Logano shocked the motorsports world over the weekend. His playoff run seemed to be over after the Charlotte Roval, but Alex Bowman’s disqualification led to him being reinstated for the Round of 8, and he made the most of it by winning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Looking ahead, the No. 22 wheelman has only won at Homestead once in 15 tries, but it was a pretty huge win, as he won his first Cup Series title in the process. The next two weeks are gravy for Logano though, as all of his focus will move to Phoenix now that he’s advanced to the Championship 4.

Christopher Bell (+330)

Christopher Bell has been phenomenal at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and he looked well on his way toward locking himself into the Championship 4 throughout most of the afternoon on Sunday. However, Joey Logano’s strategy paid off, and Bell had to settle for a hard-earned runner-up finish.

Last season, Bell locked himself into the Championship 4 with a win at Homestead. He’s only raced at the track four times, but he’s been fantastic there during his Cup Series career. He’s a threat, no doubt.

William Byron (+400)

William Byron hasn’t been to Victory Lane throughout the playoffs, but he’s been one of the more consistent wheelmen in the field, peaking at the right time. He came home P4 on Sunday in Sin City, and he’ll look to keep the good times rolling at two fantastic tracks for him, Homestead and Martinsville.

At the beginning of his tenure in the Cup Series, Byron was a disaster at Homestead, but it’s become one of his better tracks over the past couple of seasons. He won in Florida in 2021, and finished P4 at the track last season in the playoffs.

Tyler Reddick (+1000)

Tyler Reddick seemed well on his way towards an awesome afternoon in Las Vegas. However, Reddick ended up in a wreck that saw his car flip over during Stage 2, and now his back is against the wall following a P35 finish.

This will be Reddick’s fifth race at Homestead, and it couldn’t be coming at a better time. He’s finished in the top five three out of his four attempts, and a win would be a huge development, as he would go from the outside looking in to locking himself into the Championship 4.

Denny Hamlin (+1400)

Denny Hamlin had a slow start to this past weekend’s race in Las Vegas, not accumulating any stage points throughout Stage 1 and Stage 2. However, he kept working at his craft, and the No. 11 team ended up with a solid P8 finish on Sunday.

All things considered though, Hamlin might have to win to have a shot to race for the title. He’s done that three times at Homestead throughout his career, and his championship dreams might hinge on doing it a fourth.

Ryan Blaney (+2200)

Ryan Blaney hasn’t had a lot of luck during the past few weeks. He was once again involved in an accident that wasn’t of his own doing, and now he’ll likely have to win a race to make the Championship 4 following a P32 finish in Sin City.

While Blaney has never won at Homestead, he’s come close, like last season’s runner-up finish to Christopher Bell. A win would get a second Team Penske car into the Championship 4, and give Blaney a chance to retain his Cup Series title.

Chase Elliott (+2800)

Chase Elliott was unfortunately collected in the same wreck that ended Tyler Reddick and Ryan Blaney’s efforts at Las Vegas. He got his car back on track to gain some spots, but a P33 finish was certainly not what the No. 9 team expected coming into the weekend.

With Homestead and Martinsville paramount to Elliott making it to the Championship 4, the latter may provide a better chance at a win for the Hendrick Motorsports star. He’s never won at Homestead, although he did finish P2 in the summer of 2020.

As you can tell, Joey Logano made a huge leap due to his victory at Las Vegas, but Kyle Larson remains the top dog, as far as the odds go. We’ll see how they continue to change over the next two weeks, and it’ll be fascinating to see if anyone can lock themselves into Phoenix with a win in Florida this weekend.
