NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds, favorites for Phoenix Raceway
This weekend is the 2023 season finale at Phoenix Raceway. The NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds have a clear favorite. Only one driver in the Championship 4 has won a title before, and that might be the key this weekend.
There have been 36 weeks of racing, and about a 40-week season in total going back to the Busch Light Clash. It has all come down to Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell, and William Byron for the Bill France Cup. One of those four drivers will be champion on Sunday.
Kyle Larson is the favorite to win the race and win the championship. Listed at 7-4 in the NASCAR Championship odds by BetMGM to win the race and win the playoffs, Larson is the clear favorite. He’s great at Phoenix, he won the 2021 championship, and he’s had a ton of speed. If he can manage to not get too aggressive, he should be the favorite.
Ryan Blaney is listed at 11-4 odds to win the race and 9-4 odds to win the championship itself. He has four straight top-5s at Phoenix and has been runner-up in each of the last two races in the desert.
William Byron is listed at 16-5 in the NASCAR Championship odds to win the race. He was victorious at the early season race at Phoenix. However, he is listed at 11-4 odds to win the championship itself.
That leaves Christopher Bell who is the underdog in this quartet. Listed at 9/2 odds to win the race and 15/4 odds to win the championship outright. So, who is your favorite?

NASCAR Championship odds for Phoenix
While you don’t have to win the race, it helps to get a championship. More times than not in the last few years, the winner of the championship has also won the race. Of course, that creates all kinds of theories and conspiracies.
However, it might just be that the Championship 4 lends itself to this. After all, these are supposed to be the best four drivers of the season. Whichever car crosses the line first of those four gets to call themselves champion.
So, who are the favorites to spoil the day and win the race instead? Well, you have Kevin Harvick at 15-1 odds as the next in line. He has nine career wins at Phoenix, so why not him? Tyler Reddick who was recently eliminated, is listed at 22-1 in the NASCAR Championship odds along with his boss Denny Hamlin.
After elimination will these drivers feel the need for some revenge?
