The NASCAR Cup Series has once again sold out for the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. This is just the second year that the Cup Series is racing at the track once known as Gateway. For the second straight year, there are no more tickets available.

Some tracks do a better job at marketing than others. There are some areas that just have a love for motorsports more than others. The WWT Raceway track is one of those places that has it all going for it and the Enjoy Illinois 300 is a big attraction now.

This isn’t just a big deal for the racetrack. NASCAR has now sold out three straight events dating back to the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro. Now Charlotte and WWT Raceway have both sold out in the weeks following the All-Star event. It also marks the sixth sellout this season on the Cup Series schedule.

“As we celebrate NASCAR’s 75th anniversary season, fans continue to showcase their excitement and support for the sport with our third consecutive NASCAR Cup Series sellout and sixth of the season,” said Chip Wile, SVP & Chief Track Properties Officer, NASCAR. “Congratulations to our partners at World Wide Technology Raceway, who continue to have a tremendous impact for NASCAR in the greater St. Louis region. We look forward to the intense competition that will be on display before a capacity crowd on Sunday.”

Last year it was Joey Logano who found himself taking the win. He had to fight off a hard-charging Kyle Busch to do it. But it does seem that once again, the Enjoy Illinois 300 will be packed and rocking on Sunday.

Enjoy Illinois 300 odds and favorites

That sold-out crowd at WWT Raceway is going to get a good show if last year’s race was any indication. Joey Logano was the winner, as the 2022 champion built out his resume ahead of the playoffs last year with this win. He had to fight off Busch to do it. But this year, things are different. The odds are telling the same story as they have for most of the season.

DraftKings Sportsbook doesn’t have a lot of love for the race winner from last year. However, we have some familiar names at the top.

Kyle Larson is the favorite at +500 to grab the checkered flag. His teammate, William Byron is close behind at +700. These two have been the cream of the crop this season. The Hendrick teammates have combined for five wins and a lot of strong performances in the top-5 and top-10.

After those two we see a trio of drivers in Kyle Busch (+750), Ryan Blaney (+850), and Joey Logano (+850). This is a little bit based on last year’s success as well as recent races this season. Busch is in a Chevy instead of a Toyota this year. Blaney is coming off a massive Coca-Cola 600 win. Logano… well, Logano is looking to get back on the right track after picking up an early win at Atlanta this season.

So, what are we going to see from these drivers on Sunday? Hard to tell right now. But could we see a guy like Corey LaJoie shock the world and win this race as he replaces Chase Elliott? Tune into the Enjoy Illinois 300 to find out.
