Sometimes, fans are the absolute worst. That was the case at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday, when a handful of spectators got into a brawl during NASCAR‘s All-Star Race.

A fight broke out in the bleachers during Sunday’s festivities from North Wilkesboro. It appears that the scuffle involved just two men while others attempted to break it up. It’s unclear what prompted the fight or if there were any serious injuries.

Eventually, security at the racetrack intervened, putting a stop to the fight. Video of the incident from Sunday was captured and posted to Twitter:

Even at a fun All-Star event, fans lost their composure. There’s always a few in every crowd, right?

The NASCAR season is at the midway point in 2023. Drivers made their way to North Wilkesboro this past weekend for the All-Star Race before getting back on the circuit next weekend.

Kyle Larson’s wife chugs beer after NASCAR All-Star Race win

While some dumb fans fought in the stands during Sunday’s race, Kyle Larson’s wife, Katelyn, might’ve stolen the show. After watching her husband win the All-Star Race, she celebrated by downing an ice cold Coors Light.

Larson drove his car to Victory Lane at North Wilkesboro Sunday night, winning the race and also claiming $1 million in prize money. Not a bad weekend, is it?

To celebrate, Katelyn cracked open a cold beer and started chugging in front of the crowd. She then made her way over to her husband to congratulate him on the victory.

I mean, isn’t this the best way to celebrate?

Larson’s dominance in NASCAR’s All-Star Race continued over the weekend. He’s now won the event three times, doing so at three different tracks.

Prior to Sunday’s victory at North Wilkesboro, he’s also taken home checkered flags for NASCAR’s All-Star Race at Charlotte and Texas.

“I can’t even tell you what it means,” Larson said after the race. “This is my third All-Star win at my third different track at a historical place like this. You guys in the crowd made this weekend so awesome. We could feel the atmosphere all weekend. So much fun there. That was an old-school ass whooping for sure.”

Larson has won two races during the 2023 season and has finished inside the top-five five times. He currently sits ninth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings.

NASCAR returns next week at Charlotte for the Coca-Cola 600.
