While most folks will be watching the NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona as usual, others are getting football. The NFL preseason is finally here and that means there are conflicting schedules with racing and the gridiron.

Fans who want to tune into the regular season finale of the Cup Series will have to turn to Peacock or the NBC Sports App if they want to watch the race. That is if you are in select markets ranging from the East Coast to the Midwest and to Texas.

Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports shared a list of cities and markets that will experience the conflicts. There are alternate channels for some, others will join in progress, and there are some that won’t get the race at all except on those apps named above.

This has made a lot of fans upset who want to watch the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Some don’t know how they will watch it, others don’t have internet, and others still don’t have Peacock. It is a tough situation and one that is never going to go over well with some fans.

When things change, people get antsy. They even get upset at times, and this has been a pretty big change for some. After all, it is Daytona! It’s the regular season finale! And preseason footballs on?

Fans can’t stand NFL preseason airing over Coke Zero Sugar 400

NASCAR fans don’t like it when they can’t watch their races. The change in the TV schedule for select markets has upset plenty of fans. This viewer would like to tune into the Coke Zero Sugar 400 instead of the Jets and Giants in the preseason. Must be a New York City resident.

Hey, Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown at least.

Other fans were even more upset, some resulting to cursing and profane language. Chase Elliott, the most popular driver, has to win this race if he wants a spot in the playoffs. Everything is up for grabs!

In the preseason of the NFL, nothing of consequence really happens.

Once again, there is only so much a person can take when it comes to watching preseason football. The Jets and Giants could be an interesting matchup as the playoffs start to loom for the NFL. However, that is months away. We have a lot of games to play before we start crunching numbers for that playoff run.

Right now, we’re in the middle of the NASCAR Playoffs hunt. So, let’s get some coverage on the race! Not like the starters are even playing at this point in the night.

Those poor NASCAR fans. Hope you have Peacock or access to the NBC Sports website or app. You won’t want to miss the Coke Zero Sugar 400.
