The NASCAR Xfinity Series is on The CW. With a new-look graphics package, fans are starting to weigh in with positive and negative reviews. One of the most notable aspects of the broadcast is the horizontal ticker.

Instead of a vertical pylon to track positions in the race, The CW is going with the horizontal option. That was apparently a polarizing decision. There are those who are really enjoying the new look on the screen and those who feel it is not good enough.

In a search for their own identity among the NASCAR media partners, The CW definitely has its own look. The black and orange color scheme is apparent. But what do fans really think of the graphics package?

This fan is all about it.

This fan says she would like to see this in the Cup Series. Now that would be quite a change.

You can’t please everyone, though. One fan found it hard to keep up with the race with the local weather alert warning bar on their TV. To be fair, that is a regional issue and not a problem across all CW channels.

Just for fun, another fan noticed two differing opinions. It really is a great encapsulation of the NASCAR fanbase, and The CW should be honored.

The pre-race show was a lot of fun. NASCAR fans were part of the show as The CW team talked about the drivers and new changes this season. It felt like a College Gameday-type atmosphere as fans shouted and cheered.

NASCAR comes to The CW full-time in 2025

Every single NASCAR Xfinity Series race will air on The CW this season. That means fans know where to catch the action all year long and don’t have to worry about chasing the series from one network to another.

Maybe it is because FOX and NBC have had the media rights to NASCAR for so long. But this new channel and format and graphics package all feel refreshing. Hopefully, it makes those other networks step up their coverage.

There are little things that they are doing better than other networks. When Parker Kligerman and Jamie McMurray made their picks before the race, a little graphics box with the drivers popped up. Showing stats and numbers about Matt DiBenedetto and his heart rate during races. All of that is good for longtime fans and new viewers.

The CW is new to NASCAR and they are already splitting the fanbase. Something tells me that this partnership between the Xfinity Series and The CW is going to be good for the sport.
