NASCAR fans worried about Clint Bowyer's voice during Enjoy Illinois 300 qualifying
Fans watching qualifying on FS1 were taken aback when they heard Clint Bowyer’s voice on the broadcast. He sounded a little worse for wear. The Enjoy Illinois 300 qualifying session was interesting. However, many fans were more concerned about the guy in the booth than the NASCAR drivers on the track.
Clint Bowyer has not said why his voice is so out of wack. But fans were quick to notice. Whatever is going on, Bowyer has about a day to get himself right. If he sounds like he did today during the race, fans are going to lose their minds talking about how he’s talking.
There were fans that were worried, some making jokes, and others offering remedies that Bowyer should take before the main event on Sunday.
With how rough his voice sounded, it didn’t even seem like Bowyer was in the same room as his fellow broadcasters. Folks were wondering if they had the former NASCAR driver in an undisclosed location.
Blink twice if you need help, Clint.
Other fans had their own theories as to why Clint Bowyer sounded like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. You know, St. Louis has plenty to offer. Hopefully, Bowyer wasn’t hanging out with Kenny Wallace or anything on Friday.

I’m sure that Clint Bowyer is going to do everything that he can to get that voice back to tip-top shape. Sometimes you just catch a sore throat and there is nothing you can do about it. I’m sure Michael Waltrip and Mike Joy will gladly cover for their friend and colleague.
Clint Bowyer likes Ryan Blaney this week
One thing that Clint was able to get across to the fans was the fact that he likes Ryan Blaney again this week. Sometimes momentum can really shift for a driver. After winning his first race in almost two years, Blaney might be on a hot streak.
Following the Coca-Cola 600 win, Blaney and his team have another fast car. The 12 made it to the final round of qualifying at WWT Raceway. Clint Bowyer really liked the Ford Mustang Blaney was driving. In fact, he was the only driver that challenged the pole winner for the lead.
While Kyle Busch was just a little too fast, Blaney did throw down a blazing-fast lap for P2. It was a really great effort out of the Team Penske driver. He has to be thinking about another checkered flag this weekend with how well he did in practice and qualifying.
If he does win, Clint Bowyer might lose his voice even more.
