Tonight, NASCAR will induct three more drivers into the Hall of Fame. Carl Edwards, Ricky Rudd, and Ralph Moody will all be immortalized. There will be other awards handed out on the night and of course, a few speeches.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame inducts two drivers from the Modern Era ballot and one from the Pioneer Era ballot each year. As part of tonight’s festivities, Dr. Dean Sicking, the inventor of the SAFER (Steel and Foam Energy Reduction) barrier, will receive the Landmark Award.

If you would like to tune into the Hall of Fame ceremony tonight, you can. Better yet, it’s free. The ceremony will be aired live on the NASCAR Channel on Tubi.

How to Watch:
Time: 8:00 PM EST
Streaming: NASCAR Channel on Tubi
Radio: Motor Racing Network
Preshow: NASCAR.com/NASCAR YouTube at 4:30 PM EST

For fans wanting a little more content tonight from the red carpet, you can check out the NASCAR YouTube channel at 4:30. You can catch some preshow interviews and see what everyone is wearing to tonight’s ceremony.

Carl Edwards and Ricky Rudd are both fan-favorite drivers. While they never rose to champion, both came close. They also left their impact on NASCAR during their time in the sport. They were both named to NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers list in 2023 as well.

Ralph Moody, a winning Cup Series driver in his own right, did more to help others win. As a team co-owner and engine builder, Moody and his co-owner John Holman would go on to win 96 races. Some of the best drivers of their time raced in their cars, including Mario Andretti on his way to winning the 1967 Daytona 500.

NASCAR Hall of Fame ceremony will give closure

As much as NASCAR fans love Carl Edwards and Ricky Rudd, neither driver has been very visible since retirement. The NASCAR Hall of Fame ceremony tonight will give closure to many fans. Hopefully, the drivers also get any closure that they may need.

Edwards made one of the most shocking retirements in NASCAR history. He left Joe Gibbs Racing following a very strong 2016 season. Many felt he was in his prime. Perhaps we will hear a little more about that decision tonight when he gets on the stage.

It is great for NASCAR to put this live on TV. Even if it is a streaming platform, at least it is a free one. Tubi and the NASCAR Channel give the sport a way to give more to fans in a way that also makes sense economically. Now let’s get the awards show after the season to air live and we’ll be talking.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame will take in three more greats of the sport tonight. Catch it all on the NASCAR YouTube channel at 4:30 PM and on the Tubi NASCAR Channel at 8:00 PM EST.
