NASCAR insider reveals expected 2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule
The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule has yet to officially be released, though it’s expected to come before the calendar turns to September.
Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic obtained a final version of the schedule which includes several notable changes. As announced earlier this month, Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston Salem, North Carolina, will host The Clash, the annual exhibition two weeks ahead of the Daytona 500.
Bianchi previously reported that Homestead-Miami, Watkins Glen and Atlanta’s second date would be shifted from the postseason to the regular season. That is in fact the case, with Gateway, New Hampshire and Darlington’s second date moving to the playoff schedule.
Richmond will have just one date next season, with Mexico City taking its place as NASCAR announced Tuesday. The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez road course race is scheduled for Sunday, June 15. NASCAR last held a points race outside the United States in 1958 at the Canadian Exposition Stadium in Toronto, Ontario.

Daytona’s summer race, the Coke Zero Sugar 400, will serve as the regular season finale. This Sunday’s Southern 500 at Darlington is the 2024 regular season finale.
Phoenix will host the Cup Series Championship on Sunday, Nov. 2, as it has done since 2020. Homestead-Miami hosted the championship race from 2002-19.
