NASCAR Paint Schemes of the Week: Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway

It is almost time to hear the engines roar in Music City. NASCAR teams are bringing out some of their best looks for the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. Last year, it was Ross Chastain in Victory Lane at the end of the night. Who will it be this time around?
The Ally 400 has been a fun race the last few years. Has it been the best intermediate race? Maybe not when you compare it to Kansas, Darlington, or even Atlanta in its new superspeedway format. But Nashville knows how to get down.
I don’t want any more rain getting in the way of NASCAR, especially after last week’s 6-hour affair. With that said, it would be fun to see this race finish under the lights again. Nashville at night is just a different vibe completely.
Ross Chastain No. 1 Busch Country Chevy
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/27140334/Ross-Chastain-Busch-Country-Chevy-1024x538.jpg)
Once again I have Ross Chastain in his Busch Light car on my list. The defending winner of the Ally 400 has a car that would look great in Victory Lane.
Admittedly, Chastain has not had a great season in 2024. Not up to the standard he would like. Last year, you could have said the same thing before Nashville, and he went out and won that race, so who is to say? 9/10.
Corey LaJoie No. 7 Garner Trucking Chevy
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/27140315/Corey-LaJoie-Garner-Trucking-Chevy-1024x538.jpg)
Corey LaJoie has had better luck than he has had lately in the NASCAR Cup Series. He does have a great looking race car going into the Ally 400.
The No. 7 Garner Trucking Chevy is fantastic. Black, white and red – love to see Chili’s on as an associate sponsor. 8.75/10
Bubba Wallace No. 23 Columbia Sportswear Toyota

Once again, we get the Bubba Wallace x Luke Combs collab via Columbia Sportswear. This camo design is really great and the Combs logo on the door completes the design.
23XI Racing knows how to put out great paint schemes and this is no different. We have a very strong group of cars here on the list this week. 8.5/10.
Alex Bowman No. 48 Ally Chevy
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/27140257/Alex-Bowman-Ally-Chevy-1024x538.jpg)
Dale Earnhardt Jr. designed this car. The Ally 400 wouldn’t be complete without the Ally 48 Chevy.
Alex Bowman has been consistently running in the top-10 more times than not. He fell off a bit last week at New Hampshire, a track he admittedly struggles at. Great scheme, should have a strong effort once again from Bowman. 8/10.
Corey Heim No. 50 Mobil 1 50th Anniversary Toyota
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/27140309/Corey-Heim-Mobil-1-50th-Anniversary-Toyota-1024x538.jpg)
I really hope 23XI Racing has put a lot of effort into the No. 50 car this week. Corey Heim is running with Mobil 1 on the car and it is a great paint scheme.

Heim could end up at 23XI full-time in 2025 depending on when and if charters are sold. I expect a strong showing from Heim who had two starts with Legacy Motor Club while subbing for Erik Jones this season. 9/10.
Justin Haley No. 51 Pinnacle Home Improvement Ford
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/27140327/Justin-Haley-Pinnacle-Home-Improvement-Ford-1024x538.jpg)
Shoutout to Justin Haley for almost pulling off a top-5 finish last week. He is doing things on a weekly basis in this Rick Ware 51 car that no one else has been able to accomplish before him.
Haley is rumored to be heading for a job upgrade, potentially joining Wood Brothers Racing. However, for now, he’s serving looks in this great blue and orange scheme in the Ally 400. 8/10.
Zane Smith No. 71 Jockey Outdoors Chevy
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/27140340/Zane-Smith-Jockey-Outdoors-by-Luke-Bryan-Chevy-1024x538.jpg)
For the first time, Zane Smith gets to wear the Jockey Outdoors colors. Guitar added for Music City, of course.
Trackhouse Racing has a hard decision to make next season, Smith has not performed up to standard. He’s got a fun car this week though! 8/10.
Daniel Suárez No. 99 Tootsies Orchid Lounge Chevy
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/27140321/Daniel-Suarez-Tootsies-Orchid-Lounge-Chevy-1024x538.jpg)
Every time I see the Tootsies car, I have to add it to the list. I like this year’s version better, this lavender colored car is almost perfect.
Nashville wouldn’t be Nashville without Tootsies and I’m glad this partnership has continued with Trackhouse Racing. How about all three Trackhouse cars making the list this week? 9.5/10.
