NASCAR Paint Schemes of the Week: Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway
For the first time ever the NASCAR Cup Series is headed to Iowa Speedway. A few teams are pulling out special schemes for the Iowa Corn 350. There isn’t a big batch of designs this week as most teams opted to run repeat schemes.
Last week in Wine Country, Kyle Larson came up big. He did so in a sporty-looking Valvoline paint scheme. Will we see one of the schemes on the list this week reach Victory Lane or will it be someone not mentioned below?
The Iowa Corn 350 is a big deal for the local fans in the state and region. There is a lot of motorsport fandom in the area and that should translate to a great atmosphere. It might not be the largest venue on the schedule, but these Iowa race fans are going to come out in droves.
Ross Chastain No. 1 Busch Light For the Farmers Chevy
Ross Chastain and Busch Light are a driver and sponsor pairing that just makes sense. The watermelon farmer is helping raise funds for the other farmers around the country, too.
The Busch Light For The Farmers car is always fun to see. This year is no different with Trackhouse Racing putting their touch on the brand. 8/10.
Corey LaJoie No. 7 Gainbridge/Iowa Hawkeyes Chevy
This is one of my favorite paint schemes of the season. I love NCAA-branded designs and this Iowa Hawkeyes car is no different.
Corey LaJoie and Caitlin Clark are both athletes with Gainbridge sponsorships, Clark went to Iowa – it all makes perfect sense. It almost makes for a perfect race car, too. 9.5/10.
Chase Briscoe Mahindra No. 14 USA 30 Years Ford
A patriotic paint scheme this week for the 14 team. Chase Briscoe is unsure where he will be racing in 2025, but there are plenty of rumors as to where he might end up.
This week he has a great-looking car that will be ready to take to the track at Iowa. Briscoe has had success there before in the Xfinity Series. Will he find it again this weekend? 8/10.
Harrison Burton No. 21 Menards/MasterForce Tools Ford
The Wood Brothers don’t stray from their usual go-to paint schemes. However, there are a few, like this Menards scheme, that are fantastic.

I really like the Menards and MasterForce design. The green car looks awesome on the track and will be fun to see on TV. 8.5/10.
Bubba Wallace No. 23 McDonald’s/Grimace Toyota
Now we are getting to the good parts. Bubba Wallace is back again with McDonald’s and Grimace, most importantly.
Wallace is hoping that his luck turns around this weekend as well. A strong run will go a long way for him to build more points and work his way to a win this season. 10/10, Grimace can do no wrong.
Tyler Reddick No. 45 McDonald’s/Hamburglar Toyota
If you are going to have Grimace, you have to have the Hamburglar as well. Tyler Reddick resembles the fast food mascot quite a bit and it could be good luck for him.
The stripes look great on the car and overall, this is a fun paint scheme that everyone can enjoy. Reddick will be in contention on Sunday.
Iowa Corn 350 provides many unknowns
With these paint schemes on the track, there will be a lot of great cars to look at this weekend. The Iowa Corn 350 is a big deal. Fans in Iowa want to see NASCAR and IndyCar come to their track each year.
While the strange repave could prove to be problematic, Iowa Speedway will be ready for a weekend of racing. What are you most excited for this weekend in Iowa?
