The NASCAR season continues with the Cup Series heading to Homestead-Miami Speedway. Plenty of new sponsors and designs this week. We know these cars will be scuffed up after 400 miles of riding the wall in South Florida.

There are currently grass fires in the Homestead-Miami area. Right now, NASCAR and local officials are not worried about the fires affecting the race weekend. It is still something to keep in mind.

Not to be insensitive, but thinking about the last stage of this race, as the sun begins to set with the haze of the smoke in the area – photographers are going to have a field day. Let’s hope the flames are extinguished as soon as possible, and preferably, before Sunday.

Kyle Busch No. 8 Bank OZK Chevy

A new sponsor for Kyle Busch this weekend. What is better than Richard Childress Racing with black and red race cars?

The addition of the white and gray is fantastic. It uses the extra door and fender space perfectly as well. Solid all around. 8/10.

Denny Hamlin No. 11 Progressive Insurance Toyota

The newest and biggest new sponsor of the weekend! Denny Hamlin landed Progressive Insurance, a major pull for Joe Gibbs Racing.

What looked like a bad situation turned into a fantastic situation for JGR and Hamlin. This is an 18-race sponsor and the first look is this weekend. 9/10.

Ryan Blaney No. 12 Dent Wizard Ford

The folks at Dent Wizard have really upgraded the design this season. Ryan Blaney could land his first NASCAR win of the season. He seems to always put a good performance on for this sponsor.

The blue, yellow, and orange are fantastic. The white space is also great. I think this is going to look fantastic under the Miami sun. 8.5/10.

Chase Briscoe No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota

Let’s go fishing! Bass Pro Shops is having the spring sale and this fish scale design is fun. The orange highlights make it pop.

This isn’t the only fishing-related scheme. And, no offense to Chase Briscoe, it isn’t the coolest one. 8/10.

Bubba Wallace No. 23 Columbia Sportswear Toyota

Nice, bright, and colorful – Bubba Wallace is bringing this Columbia Sportswear Company No. 23 to Homestead-Miami. A win would go a long way early in the NASCAR season for this team.

Last week, Wallace showed great speed at Las Vegas. Fish car versus fish car, I’ll take this one over the 19 of Briscoe. 9/10.

William Byron No. 24 Valvoline Chevy

Image via NASCAR.com

This Valvoline scheme is one that Hendrick fans look forward to every season. A long and storied history in the sport, the oil brand is back again.

William Byron would like to win a second race. Christopher Bell has him beat 3-1 this year. Is it Byron’s week to notch win number two? 8.5/10.

Tyler Reddick No. 45 Jordan Brand Toyota

Image via NASCAR.com

We have seen a Jordan Brand scheme from this team already this season. Will we see more than in 2024? It appears that way.

Tyler Reddick has another great Jordan design. It is so easy on the eye and flows very well. Fans are going to love this one. 9/10.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. No. 47 betr March Madness Chevy

Image via NASCAR.com

How about some basketball, folks? The betting site betr is hopping on board the No. 47 car this weekend with Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

I like this much better than the Las Vegas race. Purple and black looks great, the addition of the basketballs reminds folks that it is March Madness. Keep up with all the action at On3.com, folks! 7.5/10.

Alex Bowman No. 48 Ally Unrivaled League Chevy

Image via NASCAR.com

More basketball! The season just concluded but the Unrivaled 3X3 women’s basketball league is on the 48 car this week. Alex Bowman has a really great design this week.

Big stars played in the new league this season. Now attention is firmly on the 2025 WNBA season. 8/10.

Shane van Gisbergen No. 88 Jockey Chevy

A new look on the No. 88 car. Jockey is with Shane van Gisbergen this weekend. The stripes remain but a decidedly less American flag scheme.

Will Homestead be nice to SVG? Or will he struggle on another 1.5-mile NASCAR oval? He is learning but the learning curve is rather large. 8.5/10.
