NASCAR playoff standings, Cup points updated after 2025 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

NASCAR has updated its playoff standings and Cup points after the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sunday’s race was the 22nd of the Cup Series regular season, meaning four races are remaining before the playoffs.
Bubba Wallace won Sunday’s race and put himself in a strong position as the regular season winds down. Here’s a look at NASCAR’s updated playoff standings and Cup points after the Brickyard 400.

Wallace’s victory on Sunday means that he became the 13th driver to clinch a spot in the playoffs. He now has seven playoff points, and that puts him in ninth place in the playoff standings.
The victory also means the playoff cut line has moved, and Chris Buescher is now holding on to the final spot with a 46-point lead. The first four out are Ryan Preece, Kyle Busch, Ty Gibbs and AJ Allmendinger.

Cup points updated after the NASCAR Indianapolis race
Chase Elliott remains the Cup points leader after finishing 13th on Sunday. However, William Bryon is right behind him with a four-point deficit, and Kyle Larson is only trailing by 15.
Shane van Gisbergen continues to move up the Cup points standings. He is currently in 27th place and only two points behind Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Zane Smith.
