Today is the day, NASCAR has now released all of the schedules for 2025, including the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series. There are a lot of changes, too. It’s going to be a lot of fun next season.

First of all, the Xfinity Series is tentatively named as such. It is still being determined if Xfinity will remain the title partner of the series or if another sponsor will step in as the series switches to The CW.

Then there is the Craftsman Truck Series. This season, there were no road courses on the schedule. In 2025, there will be three.

Lime Rock Park, Watkins Glen, and The Roval are all on the schedule. The latter being in the second round of the Truck Series Playoffs.

As for the Xfinity Series, there are new tracks as well. Mexico City is a big change. That is going to be an exciting race. And, just like the Truck Series, Xfinity will go racing at Rockingham Speedway.

That is a treat for those fans out there who have been dying for a NASCAR race on the schedule again. Also, Portland remains on the schedule, moving to the second to last race of the regular season.

This shows how much NASCAR cares about expanding the sport. Having the Xfinity Series on The CW next year is going to allow NASCAR to potentially reach a massive audience. No cable is required, just basic TV on a digital antenna.

As for the Truck Series, FOX will carry that coverage once again. With a new, dynamic NASCAR schedule, that series will be a lot of fun to follow in 2025.

2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule revealed

NASCAR is once again opening the schedule back-to-back with superspeedways to start the season, Daytona to Atlanta. There have been changes, though. Homestead-Miami now moves into March and out of the postseason. The off week for Easter is a welcomed change.

The biggest changes are having Bowman Gray Stadium hosting The Clash, racing in Mexico City, and the various playoff changes. Richmond loses a date to Mexico City as part of the 2025 schedule too, but still has one race.

When it comes to the NASCAR Playoffs, the order of races and even a couple of new additions are once again changing things up. The postseason will look very different in 2025 than it does now.

Homestead-Miami is out, Watkins Glen is out after just a year, and Atlanta is out with the second date falling in the summer.

The NASCAR schedule was slowly released over the last few weeks. Bowman Gray was announced and then Mexico City was announced. With all of the rumors and leaks, this schedule looks more or less like what everyone expected. Which race are you most excited about?
