NASCAR releases epic Darlington hype video ahead of Goodyear 400

Only the toughest in NASCAR can take on Darlington Raceway and leave with a win. So, who is the toughest driver on the grid? A new hype video ahead of today’s Goodyear 400 shows a few drivers giving their all for the title of “toughest.”
Chase Briscoe picking up a car? Justin Haley doing pull-ups on the infield pylon? How about Erik Jones getting his balance on top of the giant flag pole? And you can’t forget Carson Hocevar eating glass!
Which of these NASCAR drivers are tough enough to take on Darlington? Or will The Lady in Black prove to be Too Tough to Tame? Either way, it’s a great hype video from the folks at NASCAR.
We saw in practice and qualifying how difficult Darlington can be for the NASCAR drivers. Even the best of the best. A little stripe here and there, a kiss with the wall, whatever you want to call it. Many cars are already marked up ahead of today’s start.
These little social media hype videos have been great. It’s time to make the TV advertisements just as fresh, modern, and engaging. Fans seem to really like these over-the-top videos and I can’t blame them. It is a different feel for NASCAR and breaks the same boring rut of the usual commercials and videos put out for races.

William Byron leading NASCAR race at Darlington to green
While Joe Gibbs Racing has been dominant in qualifying at Darlington the last few years, it was not a Toyota on the pole yesterday. Instead, William Byron put his Chevy on the pole, and Ryan Preece put his Ford on the outside of the front row.
Denny Hamlin is P3 and is the first JGR/Toyota driver in the starting order. Coming off his win at Martinsville, Hamlin has momentum. That can be a dangerous thing for the rest of the field. He had an old-school victory last weekend and wit hit being throwback weekend, why not wind the clock back once again?
There are a lot of fast cars and drivers in the front of this race to start the afternoon. Chase Briscoe, Bubba Wallace, Austin Cindric, Tyler Reddick, Kyle Busch, Ryan Blaney, and Michael McDowell make up the rest of the top-10 in qualifying.
NASCAR at Darlington for the Goodyear 400. Who is going to be the toughest and walk away with the win today?
