NASCAR Xfinity 500: Betting lines for the entire field to win at Martinsville Speedway
After a wild weekend in Florida at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the NASCAR Cup Series will finish out the Round of 8 in Virginia at Martinsville Speedway, with the Xfinity 500 on deck.
With Joey Logano and Tyler Reddick locked into the Championship 4, the duo is wondering who will join them. It’ll be settled at Martinsville, where a bevy of playoff drivers have had immense success in the past, including William Byron, who won the spring iteration of the race earlier this season.
With that in mind, FanDuel Sportsbook tried to make sense of the competition, providing betting lines for the entire field to win the Xfinity 500. Check them out below, as the Cup Series will finalize the Championship 4 on Sunday afternoon.
Kyle Larson (+400)
Kyle Larson went for the win on Sunday afternoon, but he might’ve pushed the envelope too far too soon, as he spun himself out trying to pass Ryan Blaney. He had to settle for a P13 finish, and now the Championship 4 is looking like far from a guarantee for the man who’s won six races on the season.
While Larson didn’t start his career with solid performances at Martinsville, he’s seemingly figured something out over the past couple of seasons. He won in Virginia during the spring of 2023, and he’ll be hoping to get back to Victory Lane and lock himself into the Championship 4 this coming weekend.
Denny Hamlin (+400)
It looked like the Straight Talk Wireless 400 was going to fall into Denny Hamlin’s lap on Sunday, but he ended up finishing third when the checkered flag waved. He now faces a win-or-go-home scenario at Martinsville, with his quest for his first Cup Series title on the line.
This will be Hamlin’s 38th attempt at taming the short-track. It may be his most pivotal as well, as the No. 11 Toyota wheelman has to reach Victory Lane to continue his chase for a championship. He has five wins at the track, but his last came in 2015.
Ryan Blaney (+600)
While Tyler Reddick dealt with elation, Ryan Blaney dealt with heartbreak at Homestead-Miami. The reigning Cup Series champion is now backed into a corner, facing a must-win at Martinsville after finishing as the runner-up this past weekend.
Last season, Blaney was able to overcome the odds and win at Martinsville, locking himself into the Championship 4 and eventually winning his first title. Will history repeat itself? Don’t count the No. 12 Ford wheelman out.
William Byron (+800)
William Byron has been the most consistent wheelman not named Christopher Bell throughout the playoffs, but it might not be enough to get him to the Championship 4. If he’s to have an opportunity to race for the 2024 Cup Series title, he’ll likely have to complete the season sweep at Martinsville this coming weekend.
As we move ahead to Martinsville, the schedule couldn’t shake out any better for Byron. He has two wins at the track, including the most recent trip for the Cup Series to the short-track this past spring. Another would go a long way for the No. 24 team.

Chase Elliott (+800)
Chase Elliott defied expectations at Homestead-Miami this past weekend, battling for the lead throughout the afternoon. He had a shot at the win on the final restart, but it wasn’t meant to be for the No. 9 Chevrolet wheelman, as he finished P5.
Elliott’s won at Martinsville once, reaching Victory Lane during the fall of the 2020 campaign. He’ll need to do so again to have a chance at his second Cup Series title. Earlier this season, he came close, finishing P3.
Christopher Bell (+1000)
Christopher Bell continues to rack up the points week-in and week-out, even though he hasn’t been able to get back to Victory Lane. The No. 20 Toyota wheelman finished P4 on the afternoon in Florida, and he’s looking more and more like a lock for the Championship 4, as long as he has a mistake-free race at Martinsville.
Back in the fall of 2022, Bell was able to lock himself into the Championship 4 with a win at the short-track. He won’t have to reach Victory Lane to get there again in 2024, but don’t count him out from taking the checkered flag anyway.
Joey Logano (+1200)
Joey Logano has seemingly turned his attention to Phoenix already, after locking himself into the Championship 4 in Las Vegas. The two-time Cup Series champion finished P28 at Homestead-Miami, never really factoring into the race.
He’ll have another mulligan this weekend at Martinsville, as he tries to tame the short-track during his 32nd attempt. He’s won there only once, and it came in the fall of 2018. We’ll see if Logano can gain some momentum for the following weekend’s finale.
Martin Truex Jr. (+1800)
Homestead-Miami has been kind to Martin Truex Jr. in the past, as he won his only Cup Series title at the track. However, he couldn’t find his footing in Florida on Sunday, as the No. 19 Toyota wheelman came home P23 on the afternoon.
Moving ahead, Truex Jr. only has two races remaining in his Cup Series career, and they’ll come at some familiar tracks. The No. 19 Toyota wheelman has raced at Martinsville 37 times, winning twice. A third could be his final, and one he’d cherish forever.
