NASCAR Xfinity 500 odds, favorites for Martinsville Speedway elimination race
The Xfinity 500 odds give the best chance to win to a driver under the cutline this week. Who is going to make the Championship 4? Martinsville was the perfect elimination race a year ago. Christopher Bell’s walk-off win, Ross Chastain Hail Melon – you couldn’t ask for a better NASCAR race.
So, this year, maybe we just get a regular race. I don’t think so, though. Martinsville is a short track and this short track package isn’t the best in the Next Gen car. However, these drivers will be racing for a spot in the Championship 4 and that will create chaos.
The BetMGM Xfinity 500 odds give Denny Hamlin the best chance to win. At 11-4, the bookmakers think he can make it six wins at the Paperclip. It’s not going to be easy, though. Kyle Larson is listed at 7-1 odds.
Larson is likely mad he didn’t win at Homestead-Miami due to that pit road entry wreck. Hamlin has taken at least two race wins from Larson (Kansas-1 and Pocono) this season, maybe the perfect revenge is winning this race so Hamlin can’t advance?
William Byron is listed at 15-2 in the Xfinity 500 odds to win this race. He’s a great short-track racer in this Next Gen car and has won at Martinsville before.
Here are the Xfinity 500 odds for the rest of the playoff drivers: Martin Truex Jr. (9-1), Ryan Blaney (12-1), Tyler Reddick (15-1), Christopher Bell (20-1), and Chris Buescher (22-1).

Xfinity 500 odds: Is a spoiler waiting?
If I had to guess, I’d say a playoff driver wins this Martinsville race. Whether or not they have to win is another question. However, there are about 30 other drivers in the field with a much different agenda than those in the Round of 8.
It comes down to finishing your season on a high note. Maybe it helps shore up your confidence heading into the offseason, maybe some sponsorship or just a way to send your team off into the future (looking at you No. 4 team).
Those most likely to play spoiler this weekend according to the Xfinity 500 odds are Brad Keselowski (17-2), Joey Logano (14-1), Kevin Harvick (18-1), Kyle Busch (19-1), and Chase Elliott (20-1).
Speaking of Elliott, he needs to win if he wants to advance his team to the championship round of the owner’s playoffs. Big weekend for him and his hopes of racing for a championship in Phoenix.
