The new, expanded 12-team College Football Playoff format will continue to loom large over the college football season. As week after week many try to forecast who has the best odds of not just making it into the 12-team field, but coming out of the CFP as national champions.

FanDuel Sportsbook recently updated its odds for which teams are most likely to take home this year’s national title following Week 2’s slate of games. From runaway favorites to underdogs climbing up in the odds rankings, check out FanDuel’s full list below.

Georgia Bulldogs +270

Georgia remains atop the list with identical odds from after Week 1. Putting together two straight dominant performances following a 34-3 win over Clemson and a 48-3 win over Tennessee Tech this weekend in their home opener.

The Bulldogs will be hard to dethrone from the top spot, with their defense still not allowing a touchdown and star quarterback Carson Beck throwing for five touchdowns in his last outing. Starting SEC play this weekend with a road game in Lexington against Kentucky.

Ohio State Buckeyes +350

Adam Cairns(Columbus Dispatch) / USA TODAY NETWORK

Like Georgia, Ohio State remains firmly in the No. 2 spot of the national title odds. But shifting from +450 fo +350 odds following their strong 56-0 win over Western Michigan on Saturday.

The Buckeyes entered the season with a roster that some regarded as the most talented in college football. Presented with the opportunity to continue looking like that once again as they face their third straight Group of Five opponent this weekend when they host Marshall ahead of Big Ten play.

Texas Longhorns +550

Junfu Han(Detroit Free Press) / USA TODAY NETWORK

Not many teams in the country had the opportunity to bolster up their resume like Texas did this weekend. Which they took advantage of by defeating the national champion Michigan Wolverines on the road in impressive fashion with a 31-12 win in The Big House.

The Longhorns’ dominance resulted in their odds shifting by 150. Convincing many, including oddsmakers, that they definitely have what it takes to compete for a national championship this postseason.

Alabama Crimson Tide +1100

Gary Cosby Jr. / USA TODAY NETWORK

Alabama leapfrogged Oregon and now represents the program with the fourth-best odds to take home yet another national championship. Getting off to a slow start, but finishing things strong in a 42-16 win over USF following last year’s close call in Tampa.

The Crimson Tide entered the fourth quarter ahead just 14-13 before ripping off a 28-3 run. Momentum they’ll look to carry into their toughest matchup of the season when they hit the road to face Wisconsin in Week 3.

Oregon Ducks +1100

Ben Lonergan(The Register-Guard) / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Ducks drop one spot in the national championship odds list and shift 400 points following yet another close call to a non-Power 4 opponent. Defeating Boise State 37-34 after defeating FCS Idaho by just 10 points in Week 1.

Out of all the top national title contenders entering the season, there’s no doubt Oregon has been the most disappointing entering the season. As they’ll look to turn things around with their conference schedule just right around the corner.

Ole Miss Rebels +1500

Petre Thomas / USA TODAY NETWORK

When it comes to sheer dominance, nobody in the country has been able to rival Ole Miss. Who has outscored opponents 128-3 through the first two weeks of the college football season.

There’s no question that the Rebels will be tested by much tougher opponents than Furman and Middle Tennessee State this season. But if they’re able to translate their game to the SEC there’s also no question they’ll keep climbing in the national title odds.

Penn State Nittany Lions +1800

Matthew O’Haren / USA TODAY NETWORK

Penn State now resides in the spot previously held by Notre Dame after the Fighting Irish were upset at home to Northern Illinois in shocking fashion. Dropping out of FanDuel and the AP Poll’s Top 10 and hurting their College Football Playoff hopes.

The Nittany Lions themselves avoided an upset loss of their own to a MAC program following a seven-point win over Bowling Green this weekend. But there’s no doubt that they continue to be viewed as one of the potential big winners of the expanded playoff field.

Miami Hurricanes +2000

Sam Navarro / USA TODAY NETWORK

Miami made a statement to start the college football season following their impressive 41-17 in The Swamp against Florida. Which they followed by taking care of business in their home opener with a 56-9 win over Florida A&M in Week 2.

No team in the ACC has more likely odds to win the national title than the Hurricanes. Who are led by a quarterback in Cam Ward whose Heisman Trophy odds will likely to continue trending alongside Miami’s success.

Tennessee Volunteers +2200

Jim Dedmon / USA TODAY NETWORK

Tennessee sneaks into the Top 10 after looking from the outside following Week 1. A jump they definitely earned after dominating NC State in a 51-10 victory at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Saturday.

The Vols have been firing on all cylinders between both sides of the ball so far this season. As redshirt freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava has continued to grow and Tennessee’s stout defense has not allowed a touchdown yet this season.

USC Trojans +2800

Jonathan Hui / USA TODAY NETWORK

Like Tennessee, the USC Trojans make their first appearance in the Top 10 and round things out for FanDuel’s national championship odds. Following their statement win over LSU to open the season with a 48-point shutout against Utah State.

Lincoln Riley‘s offense has continued to impress with a new starting quarterback Miller Moss under center. But the Trojans’ defense looking new and improved so far could truly be the difference in USC competing in the CFP for a national title this season.
