For the second straight day, there’s a big trade in the association.

Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, a three-team trade is being finalized between Chicago, Sacramento, and San Antonio. Within that deal, the Spurs will receive De’Aaron Fox and Jordan McLaughlin while the Kings will receive Zach Lavine, Sidy Cissoko, and six draft picks with three in the first round and three in the second. The Bulls will then receive a trio of players of their own in Kevin Huerter, Zach Collins, and Tre Jones plus a pick.

Fox, a former All-Star and All-NBA selection, is in his eighth season that he had spent all with the Kings after they drafted him fifth in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Kentucky. He has averaged 21.5 points, 6.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in that career with Sacramento.

Now, with this move, Fox will pair with the biggest young stars in the NBA in Victor Wembanyama.

Lavine, a two-time All-Star and multiple-time winner of the NBA Dunk Contest, is then in his eleventh season and eighth with Chicago. He has averaged 20.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a pro.

With this, Lavine will now head to Sacramento and reunite with a former teammate of his in DeMar DeRozan.

The trade deadline will come on Thursday with two massive deals already done across the NBA. More could be on the way too depending on how teams react to these moves over the next few days.

NBA Trade Deadline: Luka Dončić, Anthony Davis headline blockbuster three-team swap

The Dallas Mavericks are trading Luka DončićMaxi Kleber, and Markieff Morris to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony DavisMax Christie, and a 2029 first-round pick, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania. The three-team deal includes the LA Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Utah Jazz. The Jazz will get Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2025 second round pick via the LA Clippers, and a 2025 second round pick via the Dallas Mavericks.

It’ll go down as one of the more shocking and surprising trades in league history as, from the sounds of it, it surprised all of the parties involved too.

“This deal materialized in the shadows…LeBron James had no idea this was coming. Anthony Davis had no idea this was coming. I’m told Luka Doncic is still stunned about this trade,” Charania said on ESPN’s SportsCenter.
