How to watch Nebraska at USC

Time: 4 p.m. ET, Nov. 16
Channel: FOX/Fubo TV Streaming
Location: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum; Los Angeles (Calif.)

A week after flirting with an upset win over now-No. 3 Ohio State, Nebraska dropped its third straight game. And this time the Cornhuskers suffered their most disappointing setback yet, a 27-20 loss to a now-three-win UCLA team that came into Lincoln with only one Big Ten victory.

The Huskers, once 5-1, still aren’t bowl eligible. They also still haven’t gotten their offense back on track.

Nebraska does have a week off before facing USC, and playing better on offense is a big point of emphasis for the Cornhuskers coming out of the bye.

Nebraska’s last win came against Rutgers on Oct. 5. Even then, the Huskers scored only 14 points. They’ve totaled just 58 points over their last four outings, in other words 14.5 points per contest. They haven’t averaged more than 4.5 yards per play in any of those four matchups, nor have they finished with more than 322 yards of offense in a game during that span.

Head coach Matt Rhule called Nebraska’s Week 11 off week “a week of introspection” when he met with the media Monday.

“I think it’s for me as the head coach, looking at everything that we’re doing,” Rhule said. “I think it’s for each each assistant coach, looking at everything that we’re doing. What are we doing well? What are we not doing well? I think it’s for each player.

“Bad organizations point fingers. Good organizations look at themselves. And this is a tough time, so we have to be a good organization and look at ourselves and challenge ourselves.”
