New England Patriots take savage shot at New York Yankees after World Series loss
The New England Patriots had a little fun at the expense of the New York Yankees after the Yankees lost the World Series against the Dodgers this past week.
The Patriots official Twitter account posted a picture of the Patriots plane with the caption: “Daaaaaaa Jankees lose.” You can check it out below:
It’s no surprise that the Patriots enjoyed seeing the Yankees lose and afterwards helped out the Red Sox by doing some trolling.
The Boston area was certainly rooting the Dodgers to win and they got their wish as Los Angeles took the series in five games.
The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the World Series on the road, winning in Yankee Stadium Wednesday night. It was the eighth World Series title for the Dodgers and the first for LA since 2020.
Los Angeles began their run against a division rival in the NLDS, taking down the San Diego Padres in five games. Another New York team awaited in the NLCS but despite putting up a good fight, the Mets fell to the Dodgers in six games. Just 16 games were required to take home the Commissioner’s Trophy.
Unsurprisingly, Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman was named World Series MVP. His Game 1 walk-off grand slam will be remembered in baseball for a long, long time — producing a historic moment for the sport. Freeman wound up homering in the first four games vs. the Yankees, breaking the record for consecutive games with a home run in the World Series, dating back to his time with Atlanta.

Drake Maye injury update: Patriots announce QB’s status ahead of Titans game
The New England Patriots have posted an injury update on rookie quarterback Drake Maye. The former North Carolina star has cleared concussion protocol and is good to go for Sunday’s game against the Titans.
“Drake Maye has cleared Concussion Protocol. He has been removed from the injury report,” the Patriots posted on Twitter.
The New England Patriots rookie quarterback took a hit to the head during Week 8’s 25-22 home win over the New York Jets. The 2024 No. 3 overall pick suffered the head injury after scrambling for 18 yards on the Patriots’ third offensive drive of the game.
Drake Maye was a limited participant in practice this week, signaling that there was a chance he could be cleared before Sunday’s game.
