New York Jets acquire James Robinson in trade with Jacksonville Jaguars
Another huge trade happened in the NFL on Monday. After the New York Jets star rookie running back Breece Hall went down in Sunday’s victory over the Denver Broncos, the Jets have made a trade for a Jacksonville Jaguars running back, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
“ Sources: The #Jets are making a big trade, acquiring #Jaguars RB James Robinson to help replaced injured RB Breece Hall. Draft pick compensation is going back to the Jags,” wrote Rapoport via Twitter.
It was a harrowing scene for Jets fans as they watched their young talented running back be carted off the field. And everyone’s fear of what injury Hall suffered was confirmed earlier on Monday. An MRI showed that the former Iowa State Cyclone tore his ACL and suffered a meniscus injury, effectively ending his season.
In exchange for Robinson, New York is trading away a conditional sixth-round pick that could become a fifth-rounder.

Hall had especially been picking up steam over the past few weeks, and having scored a touchdown in four straight games. He played his college ball for Iowa State, where he totaled a combined 3,941 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns across three seasons.
Should the diagnosis on Breece Hall’s ACL be true, fans can expect Michael Carter to step in to fill his absence. Carter has 199 yards and two touchdowns playing behind Hall so far this season. The Jets also have Ty Johnson behind him.
The Jets also had right tackle Alijah Vera-Tucker leave with an elbow injury and wide receiver Corey Davis exit with a knee injury.
