New York Knicks fans chant 'F**k Reggie Miller,' Josh Hart hilariously reacts
There are few rivalries in the NBA that have been as heated over the past few decades quite like the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. And there are few players in league history that draw the ire of Knicks fans quite like former Indiana legend, Reggie Miller. The sharpshooter had some historic performances in Madison Square Garden, such as the time he scored eight points in 8.9 seconds in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semis to lift the Pacers to victory.
The Knicks ended up winning Game 2 of their playoff series on Wednesday night, 130-121. And before the game ended, their fans in MSG wanted to rub it in Miller’s face with a ‘F**k you Reggie’ chant.
Knicks star Josh Hart thought it was hilarious. He walked up to the Pacers’ legend to make sure he knew what the fans were saying.
Reggie Miller definitely expected plenty of trash talk from Knicks fans ahead of the game and he certainly got it. It’s not surprising in the least, considering how heated things were back in the day between the two franchises. In the 1998 NBA Playoffs, Miller and the Pacers knocked off the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks en route to the Eastern Conference Finals.
There, the Pacers lost in seven games in heartbreaking fashion to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

Miller was one of the most prolific three-point shooters in NBA history at the peak of his powers with the Indiana Pacers. During his impressive career, he was named a five-time NBA All-Star. And he was even named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. For his entire career, Miller averaged 39.5% from beyond-the-arc. He was notorious for coming off screens and being one of the deadliest catch-and-shoot players in the game. His career-high came in 1997-1998, when he averaged 42.9% from long range. There were several other points in his career where he shot more than 40 percent from beyond-the-arc.
A lethal free-throw shooter as well, the Pacers legend averaged 88.8% from the charity stripe. His best season from the foul line came in 2004-2005 (his last year in the league), when he shot 93.3%. Miller finished with eight seasons where he drilled 90% or more of his attempts from the foul line, putting him in an elite category in that regard.
He is the brother of former USC women’s basketball legend, Cheryl Miller. Reggie Miller has his No. 31 retired by the Indiana Pacers and he’s also a member of the UCLA Bruins Hall of Fame. He wrapped up his college basketball career as one of the most prolific scorers ever to come to the school, ranking second all-time (2,095 points).
