The NFL will have quite a performance set up this year for one of their games come Christmas Day.

Netflix, which will air both of the league’s games on Christmas, announced tonight that Beyoncé will perform for the halftime show of the second matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans.

Beyoncé herself has also shared a video online to make the announcement of the show official. She and Netflix have also updated aspects of their social media pages to the content from the clip and photoshoot.

Christmas has become a very successful window as of late for the NFL. It fell on a Monday last year with a triple-header on the schedule as the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles won over the New York Giants, and the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers by two scores. The trio of matchups averaged an audience of 28.4 million viewers across CBS, FOX Sports, and ESPN. That again outperformed the league that usually has had the best viewership on that holiday in the NBA.

With that, the NFL took bids for where their games would be aired this year on Christmas for a Wednesday. It was then shared in May that Netflix would exclusively be streaming them this holiday season.

This ain’t Texas, ain’t no hold ’em says Beyoncé? Apparently not with Queen Bey headed to H-Town to perform on Christmas Day with plenty of her hive likely to now tune in as well, if only at halftime for some.
