The NFL announced Friday that the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars will each play international games in London during the 2025 regular season.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host both the Jets and Browns, while Wembley Stadium will play host to the Jaguars — their 14th game in London — as part of the franchise’s multiyear commitment to playing a game in the U.K. The NFL will announce each team’s opponent, dates and times during the 2025 schedule unveiling this spring.

“We look forward to welcoming the Jets, Browns and Jaguars to London as part of the 2025 NFL International Games,” NFL U.K. & Ireland general manager Henry Hodgson said in a statement. “This season will see us surpass 40 regular season games in the capital, a testament to the role the U.K. has played in growing the game globally.

“The London games are a continued catalyst for year-round fan engagement and we are focused on serving our 15 million fans, reaching new communities and driving growth in flag football participation, which now sees over 100,000 young people play the game.”

NFL returning to London in 2025, expanding to new country

Beginning in 2025, the NFL can schedule up to eight international games per season. London has been a fixture on the schedule since the inaugural game in the U.K.’s capital in 2007. The league has since expanded to other countries, hosting five games in Mexico, three in Germany and the first in Brazil — 2024 Week 1 between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles.

Next season, it’s Spain’s turn. Two teams will play at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home to soccer giants Real Madrid. Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany will also host a game in 2025.

“Playing a game in Madrid in 2025 highlights the continued expansion of the league’s global footprint and the accelerated ambitions to take our game to more fans around the world,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said. “We are proud to partner with Real Madrid C.F., a global brand, together with the city of Madrid and Comunidad de Madrid, to bring a spectacular regular season game to Spain at the world-class Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.”
