NFL.com releases updated 2023 Mock Draft with plenty of surprises
The 2023 NFL Draft is still two months away, but it’s never too early to start projecting where this year’s top prospects will land. NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah released the latest version of his 2023 NFL Mock Draft on Tuesday. Jeremiah’s latest mock has a handful of surprises and plenty of interesting landing spots for college football’s most talented players from last season.

* There is no No. 32 pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft due to a forfeiture of the selection by the Miami Dolphins, following an investigation into whether the organization violated league policies pertaining to the integrity of the game.
One of the biggest twists of Jeremiah’s mock draft is Texas Tech EDGE Tyree Wilson getting picked ahead of Alabama’s two-time Bronko Nagurski Trophy trophy winner Will Anderson. According to Jeremiah, Wilson’s size, length, and production have gotten the attention of many teams around the league, and could possibly continue to do so at the NFL Combine.

Jeremiah has four quarterbacks being selected within the top 20 picks of the first round, with former Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young being selected with the No. 2 overall pick and Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson heading to Detroit to play behind Jared Goff.
Some other surprises from the mock draft include tight end Dalton Kincaid being selected over Michael Mayer and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selecting Texas standout running back Bijan Robinson following the retirement of quarterback Tom Brady.
