NFL Draft 2025: Las Vegas Raiders hosting Ashton Jeanty, Quinn Ewers on visits

The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly hosting Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty and Texas QB Quinn Ewers on pre-draft visits. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news Monday.
The Jeanty visit is no surprise, considering the Raiders hold the No. 6 overall pick. A lot of mock drafts are starting to place the star running back in black and silver at the next level.
Ewers though, who was not thought of a first round pick at least at this time, could be a selection in the second round. The Raiders have the No. 37 overall pick, the fifth selection of the second round.
Ewers could end up being a candidate to be the future franchise quarterback of Las Vegas. Currently, the Raiders have Geno Smith, whom they traded for in a deal with the Seahawks. It reunited him with new head coach Pete Carroll.
Ewers visiting with the Raiders was originally set in late-March after SI’s Albert Breer reported he would visit the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts, in addition to the Raiders. Now, it seems official.

Ewers did not have the end to his college career that he wanted in Austin. He played well in aspects in his final season by throwing for 3,472 yards and a career-best of 31 touchdowns but also struggled as his completion percentage dropped to 65.8%, he threw a career-worst with 12 interceptions, and dealt with a pair of injuries that affected him for the duration of his junior year.
However, Ewers did improve some of his stock with his outing at the combine at the beginning of March. That has him projected just outside the top-five but within the top-ten for most analysts as far as quarterbacks in this draft. With that, Ewers could hear his name called anytime on day two or three with the next four weeks better determining where he’ll slot for teams.
Ewers is a question coming into the draft considering where he used to project versus where he projects now as a prospect. Some of that could now begin to be answered over the next month with what impression he leaves on teams starting tomorrow down on The 40 Acres.
