NFL flexes Aaron Rodgers, Jets vs Colts out of Sunday Night Football in week 11, replaces with Bengals vs Chargers
The NFL has flexed Week 11’s matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Chargers to the Sunday Night Football time slot.
The Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Jets, which was previously slated for the prime time spot, has been moved to the early 1 p.m. ET window, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter. The schedule change comes as both the Colts and Jets sit below .500 heading into Week 10. To that point, the Bengals are 4-5 this season but have won three of its last four. Meanwhile, the Chargers are are 5-3 after beating the Cleveland Browns 27-10 in Week 9.
For the Colts, they’ve encountered some issues under center this season. Benching former first-round pick Anthony Richardson in favor of veteran Joe Flacco. Before Week 9, Colts head coach Shane Steichen said Flacco was their best chance to win now before the 21-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
However, Aaron Rodgers and the Jets secured their most impressive win of the season against the Houston Texans, defeating CJ Stroud and company 21-13 to log its third win this year.

However, the Jets will travel the Arizona to take on the Cardinals before they get to host Indianapolis in Week 11. The Colts host the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. Neither the Jets nor Colts have another primetime game left on their respective schedules barring another flex down the road.
For the new teams in the slot, this will be the third time the Cincinnati Bengals have played either on Sunday or Monday night this season. They still have a Monday Night Football matchup at the Cowboys on Dec. 9 as well.
Meanwhile, LA will now play in prime time during Weeks 11, 12 and 14. Now playing the Bengals on SNF in Week 11, they’ll stay at home to host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12. After a 1 p.m. ET game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13, they travel to Kansas City for Sunday Night Football.
