Davante Adams crossed a line, shoving a camera man shortly after the Las Vegas Raiders were bested by the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, and any number of parties are seeking to hold him accountable — the NFL very much included.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, the league “continues to review” the incident to potentially hand down discipline. Punishment could — and likely would — include a fine, along with a suspension or other demerits the NFL can pass down under the latest CBA.

The Raiders have the week off following the loss to Kansas City, and Darlington noted the NFL is thusly taking its time to come to a decision and there is no set time frame to make it.

Last Monday night, the game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers was briefly halted while a protestor ran on the field before being leveled by Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner.

Adams was seen after the game slamming his helmet in anger, and then later the broadcast showed Adams shove a camera man passing by in front of him as he walked into the locker room.

The photographer pushed filed a police report after the sideline incident

Like the protestor who Wagner took to the ground, the camera operator Adams shoved filed a report with the local police.

The photographer reportedly spoke to police in Arrowhead Stadium moments after the incident before going to the hospital for medical attention.

The officers immediately recognized that “the injuries (were) preliminarily thought to be non-life threatening.” However, he claimed he was assaulted and now the police are investigating, probing, and coordinating, “with the applicable city or state prosecutor to determine any applicable charges.”

That would be on top of whatever discipline the NFL hands down to Adams.
