NFL Network's Peter Schrager predicts Super Bowl LVIII matchup and winner after correctly picking last 4 Super Bowls
The Nostradamus of Super Bowl predictions has made his pick for the matchup and winner that we’ll see in the Big Game this coming February.
This great prophet is named Peter Schrager and he’s a host on the NFL Network’s show Good Morning Football. For each of the last four years, the week of the first NFL game of the season, he’s correctly selected the team that wound up winning it all.
In 2019-20, he called for a Chiefs breakthrough. In 2021, he expected Tom Brady to lead the Bucs to the promised land. Then in 2022, he had Matthew Stafford and the Rams finally bringing a football title to Los Angeles.
Last season featured the most incredible prediction yet. Schrager picked the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl while wearing a Nick Bolton jersey, noting that the KC linebacker would have a big hand in making the win happen. Boy, did he. Bolton single-handedly flipped the actual game around last February when he forced a Jalen Hurts fumble near the 50 yard line, then scooped up the ball and stormed into the end zone to tie the game.
After forecasting four straight years of correct Super Bowl picks, the world waited with bated breath as Schrager delivered his 2023-24 prediction on the show this week. Here that was:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the 49ers will be the No. 1 seed in the NFC this season,” he began his address. “They’ll get their revenge from a year ago and they will beat the Eagles in a hard-hitting NF Championship game.”
Schrager then declared that “the Cincinnati Bengals will be the No. 1 seed in the AFC.” However, they won’t be the ones representing the conference in the Super Bowl.

“But like the Bengals did to the Chiefs in Arrowhead two years back, Kansas City will come into Cincinnati and break the Bengals’ hearts in their building this year in the AFC championship.”
Schrager then provided a final score, winner and another under-the-radar player who will turn the tide in this theoretical matchup.
“So it will be 49ers vs. Chiefs in Vegas. The winner, with the exact score being 34-28, and with second-year cornerback Trent McDuffie returning a pick six late in the fourth quarter, the Kansas City Chiefs will yet again be your Super Bowl champion. Folks, I will see you at the parade.”
Schrager went on to explain that his pick of the Chiefs, again, is a testament to the dynasty they’re building.
“I’ll tell ya this. They might not have Chris Jones. They might not have Travis Kelce tonight (vs. the Lions). They might not have a lot of things. But when it comes down to it, they’ve got a dynasty. The Kansas City Chiefs are the team of our generation and they’re not giving up that torch just yet. Kansas City Chiefs are the dynasty of the 2020s.”
Chiefs for Super Bowl No. 3 in five seasons, according to the NFL Network’s Peter Schrager.
