Following a riveting start to the wild card round of the NFL playoffs, the playoff schedule for the divisional round has been set. NBC announced it on Sunday evening.

The games will kick off on Saturday afternoon and conclude on Sunday evening, unlike the wild card round, which had games going into Monday due to both weather and the original scheduling.

There were some upsets in the wild card round, too, so the matchups for the divisional round aren’t all chalk. The San Francisco 49ers, for example, will take on the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers after the Packers blasted the Dallas Cowboys in a 48-32 blowout.

Two games remain in the wild card round, with the Pittsburgh Steelers set to take on the Buffalo Bills on Monday afternoon, followed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Philadelphia Eagles in the night game. Both games will have impacts on the divisional round playoff schedule.

Weather, of course, played a big factor in the wild card round, with a freezing game played at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night and the Buffalo-Pittsburgh game delayed until Monday. We’ll certainly hope weather doesn’t impact the next round.

As is, there are several compelling games on the divisional round playoff schedule, so let’s get to the schedule.

Keep in mind that some games aren’t fully set yet, since a lower seed winning could change who faces the No. 1 seed in the AFC, much like happened in the NFC. But here we go.
