NFL reveals sixth Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowler
The Dallas Cowboys will have a strong contingent at the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl next weekend. The NFL announced a sixth addition to the NFC roster for the Cowboys – wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.
Lamb was initially an alternate for the game between the games’ best players but is now on the roster. The move is thanks to Cooper Kupp and the Rams. Kupp won’t participate in the Pro Bowl after earning a spot in Super Bowl 56 with the win over San Francisco on Sunday night.
The Pro Bowl is Lamb’s first in his two-year career. The other NFC Pro Bowl receiver selections are Packers’ DaVante Adams and Vikings’ Justin Jefferson. However, Tampa Bay’s Mike Evans is replacing Adams.
CeeDee Lamb led the strong Cowboys receiving room in yards with 1,102, adding six touchdowns. Dallas finished the season as the number one offense in the NFL.
The Cowboys drafted Lamb with the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Oklahoma. He out-performed his rookie stats this season, catching 79 passes on 120 targets.

Lamb joins five Cowboys for Pro Bowl
Last month, the NFL announced the first five Cowboys who received their Pro Bowl call. Cornerback Trevon Diggs, linebacker Micah Parsons, tackle Tyron Smith, guard Zack Martin and punter Bryan Anger are all headed to Las Vegas. Smith is the only non-starter besides Lamb.
Diggs and Parsons had monster years for the Cowboys defense. Diggs leads the NFL with 10 touchdowns, including two pick-sixes on the season. Parsons, meanwhile, ranks seventh in the NFL with 12 sacks. He also has 57 solo tackles to his name.
Smith is one of the top tackles in the game, coming in with a 91.7 overall grade by Pro Football Focus. He has dealt with a high ankle sprain and a bone spur lately.
Martin checks in as a 93.7 grade by Pro Football Focus — the highest on the site for an offensive lineman — and is a huge reason why Dallas’ offensive line has been so good this season. The Cowboys’ o-line is the highest-graded by Pro Football Focus.
Anger ranks seventh in the NFL with 48 yards per punt and has 2,456 total yards on the year.
