NFL suspends Mike Hall five games for violating Personal Conduct Policy
The NFL has suspended Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Mike Hall for five games for violating the personal conduct policy, according to a report from the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Hall had been on the Commissioner Exempt List and has already served four games of his suspension. He will be eligible for reinstatement on Oct. 7, according to a report from the Associated Press’ Tom Withers.
The Browns rookie had been arrested in August on a domestic violence charge.
Mike Hall pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, in court on Sept 19. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended as a result, and Hall was placed on two years monitoring time. He was also fined $250.
During his appearance in court, Mike Hall told the judge he lamented “the whole situation and wish this never happened.” The 2024 second-round pick also said he’s been undergoing counseling “and trying to better myself” since the incident.
The original incident involving Hall occurred on Aug. 13 after a dispute with his fiancee at home.
NFL also suspends Von Miller
Mike Hall was not the only player issued a suspension for a violation of the personal conduct policy on Tuesday, with Buffalo Bills star Von Miller also suspended.

Miller has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Miller will be suspended without pay for those games.
Miller will be eligible for reinstatement following Buffalo’s Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Miller has played in all four games for the 3-1 Bills in 2024.
The reason for Miller’s suspension has not been made clear, but he was alleged in late 2023 to have committed domestic violence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Miller played in 12 games for the Bills in 2023 after tearing his ACL in 2022.
