NFL suspends Von Miller four games for violating Personal Conduct Policy
Buffalo Bills defender Von Miller has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Miller will be suspended without pay for those games.
Miller will be eligible for reinstatement following Buffalo’s Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Miller has played in all four games for the 3-1 Bills in 2024.
The reason for Miller’s suspension was not made clear by the NFL, but shortly after ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg confirmed that the suspension stems from the pass rusher allegedly assaulting his then-pregnant girlfriend in 2023.
Miller was alleged in late 2023 to have committed domestic violence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Miller played in 12 games for the Bills in 2023 after tearing his ACL in 2022.
Shortly after Miller turned himself in to authorities, it was learned that the alleged victim claimed that an assault did not take place.
Miller has denied the allegations. The criminal investigation in Texas, where the alleged crime took place, didn’t lead to any criminal charges.
According to an affidavit obtained by ESPN, the allegations involved Miller placing one then both hands on the woman’s neck for around 3-to-5 seconds and pulling her hair, as well as shoving her, as she tried to gather things after he told her to leave their shared apartment. The woman then called the police, at which point Miller left before turning himself in on a warrant. The entire ordeal took place during the Bills 2023 bye week in November.
The NFL also suspended Cleveland Browns rookie defensive lineman Mike Hall on Tuesday, handing him a five-game suspension for also violating the league’s personal conduct policy in a separate matter.

Major news broke regarding a star wideout on Tuesday
After reportedly requesting a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, the asking price for Davante Adams has reportedly been revealed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Raiders would “consider” such a move for a package around a second-round pick and other compensation.
Tuesday afternoon, NFL Network reported Adams informed the Raiders he “preferred” to be traded. The news comes as his future came into question in Las Vegas, especially after head coach Antonio Pierce “liked” an Instagram post about the star receiver potentially playing his last snap with the Raiders.
Adams is in his third season with the Raiders after coming over via trade from the Green Bay Packers in 2022. He signed a five-year, $140 million extension with Las Vegas and has three years remaining. He did not suit up against the Browns as he dealt with a hamstring injury.
Through three games this season, Adams has 18 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown after an up-and-down 2023 season. He turned in his lowest production since 2019, totaling 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns as the Raiders struggled.
